I paid my fee on 3rd of March and Today (23/06/2021) I realized that their automated booking system does not work.
In other words - I was waisting my time waiting for viewings...
At the same time it could be worth to mention, that neither dedicated emoov agent nor the Customer Services were interested in dealing with my concerns.

We were sold in to a 'premium package' that was dressed up as much more than it actually was. We were told that we would have top listings on Rightmove and Zoopla along with social media marketing when in reality we had premium visibility on Rightmove only and the social media marketing was not proper marketing but a single post on Emoov's low traffic pages...which we had to constantly push to even get posted.
Part of the package was a For Sale board which took multiple weeks to arrive with consistent chasing from our end. Our account manager became increasingly defensive the more we questioned this premium package we were mis-sold. We asked for a partial refund which we were told was being looked in to but never materialised and emails to follow up have been ignored. Overall a poor service and would not recommend.

Emoov failed to deliver a service at any level. The agent who valued and photographed my house was late on both occasions. They couldn't market my property because there was an 'issue' with my account. I rang 13 times in two days and sent 12 emails and nobody was willing to help me resolve the issue. I'd already paid the up-front fee by this point.
When I asked for a refund (I was within my 14 day cooling off period) no-one would accept my request or confirm that I would actually get my money back. I still haven't had my money back (!) and they are refusing to pay the whole amount because they took photographs (which they refuse to send me).
They didn't undertake a thorough investigation of my complaint and I am now taking it to the Property Ombudsman. I've never experienced anything like it. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.

The service from Ali was perfect in every sense. He gave me a realistic valuation before and after refurbishment and knew my area very well. I highly recommend him if you need a proper property consultant in Stratford and Plaistow.

From the outset the experience I had with eMoov was extremely positive. I did deal with several members of staff but from my first telephone enquiry when my call was answered Karun, my fears (I had a few, using an unconventional estate agent was a bit of a leap of faith) were allayed. Karun spent time to talk me through the entire process and then gave me time to think it all through before committing to using the Service. It was so refreshing to deal with an Estate Agent, who did do exactly what they said they would do, when they were asked to do it, without the usual arrogance I had experienced with those of the High Street. I was made to feel throughout the process, that I was in charge and that eMoov were actually working for me rather than me working to get the Estate Agent their commission. During viewings I made a point of talking to my prospective purchasers about the experience they had had with eMoov and they were extremely impressed also. eMoov, whilst not actually carrying out the viewings (they don't do that and I would always do my own viewings anyway) made a point of carefully booking all viewings, emailing purchasers, and texting them to remind them of where to be and when, they were also knowledgeable about my property, gave great feedback and took time to prepare excellent photographs and a very thorough write up. Most impressive was that every time I called eMoov, no matter who answered the phone, they knew who I was and all about where I was in my sales process, I never had to remind or explain a thing. The file on me must have been extremely comprehensive and always up to date. I have to admit, using eMoov made me pretty unpopular with the Estate Agents dealing with my new purchase, apparently (as I was actually told by one very large high street agent) that I would not be viewed as a viable or reliable purchaser and that they would not work hard for me in order to make properties available for me to view! An interesting attitude, considering it would be my money that got them their %, but one that didn't actually surprise me...It sounded a bit like fear to me?! I would not hesitate to use eMoov again, and I recommend them to everyone I speak to.

I'm fascinated by your very helpful insight into the attitude of our high street competitors. To, in effect, obstruct your onward purchase because of their concerns over our growing popularity is really telling. Not to mention rather unprofessional (and indeed this approach by them falls foul of the Property Ombudsman Code of Practice and the Estate Agents Act). Just made a phone call to emoov to find out what the crack was, was then lied to 3 times in a row this is not the first time either been having problems with emoov for 1.5 years, they use ghost buyers to keep you with them and they use them when you get difficult with them i just want honest facts ... I arranged a valuation on Tuesday for 10.00 on 6th October.
I got an email confirmation stating that I would receive a call to discuss what happens next. By 5th - no call, so I rang them myself. Adviser couldn't understand why I was ringing. I had to read out what was written in the email. She confirmed the valuation would be going ahead at 10.00 on 6th. On 6th , by 10.15 I was still waiting. Rang and got disconnected twice , then when I managed to get connected and speak to someone , she cut me off. I rang back again and was told that my appointment was booked in for 13 th October, which it certainly wasn't. If they can't get the basics right, what else will they muck up. Wont use them now or again.

Monday evening I viewed the property
Tuesday morning I made the offer in which I said I would exchange in 10 days (very fast for a normal transaction), in the afternoon the offer was accepted. All going very well so far.
Wednesday as agreed I sent them my surveyors details and THEY booked an appointment with him for him to go around the next day. This is where things start to go very wrong indeed! At this point I pay my surveyor £350 safe in the knowledge the transaction is going to proceed.
Thursday I hear absolutely nothing from EMOOV... My surveyor turns up does the survey. Whats the problem... Well my solicitor receives an email from the vendor saying that, they should contact they agent as Im no longer buying the property and it is being completed on by another purchaser today. I ring EMOOV and nobody has a clue a) what is going on and b) who I should speak to, so after franticly panicking about going on I finally speak to someone, awhile later I may add who informs me that they have in fact sold to someone else and the £350 I had only just spent was indeed a complete waste of money!! Brilliant!
So now EMOOV have the fee from the vendor, The vendor has his money and poor old me... well I'm £350 lighter and given absolutely no opportunity to increase my offer or for that matter actually been told what is going on.
Now I understand that mistakes happen and things slip though the net. But for me it is how people deal with this mistakes and actually try to rectify them is what makes or breaks a company. Unfortunately for me even though I had absolutely no control over the situation and acted in good faith of EMOOV to control their client to know what was going on, and even though I had been sent the memorandum of sale and instructed both a surveyor and solicitor based on the information I was given. EMOOV have declined to re-pay my £350 as a good will gesture or make any contribution towards it.
Now I feel this is horrendous, EMOOV a big corporate and me a normal 9-5 guy £350 is a lot of money to me, they sell thousands of house so is isn't a lot to them, They could have made a good will gesture, in their own words they admit this isn't at all fair and I have been unfairly treated are unwilling to give me anything back.
Had they helped me out I would be leaving a 5* review saying what great guys an awful situation happened to me and they made it right. However sadly this is not the case and thus I leave a 1*.
I would end this buy saying if your buying a home and EMOOV are the agents be very aware before you hand over any money...

This is the second time of using Emoov & we will most certainly be using them again. What you get for your money is exceptional and no different from an agent on the high street just without the massive bill at the end of it. In fact it's better as the staff really know their clients and with you every step of the way.
Holly has done an amazing job of making sure our sale was as smooth as possible, she answered every question and at any time. She was a pleasure to have on our property and hope to use her again.
