I rented a property through Wards for several years and would never use them again. The tenant owed me rent money, flooded the house causing the ceiling to collapse, blocked the drains, left most of his broken furniture in the front and back gardens for me to have removed as well as all the general wear and tear and yet I am still waiting for the deposit to be returned to me. Whenever you call them they promise this and promise that and then you never hear from them

The staff at Wards Strood were all great, including the in-house financial advisor who was a very nice and level headed guy to talk with. The staff at Wards Strood were all great, including the in-house financial advisor who was a very nice and level headed guy to talk with. I would give it less stars if i could. They failed to show up to viewings. Leaving people standing outside for over 30 minutes. Very little communication. I felt that I needed to email you to express how impressed we have been with the staff at your Strood Branch. In particular the team who always answer the phone to me and give me updates in a very professional and timely manner.
I must inform you that Abbie has been absolutely outstanding in the way that she has taken us through the sale of our property from the onset up until now, we have everything crossed that this all goes through well.
Abbie has been truly committed in finding us a buyer and actually found us 2 buyers! we can't thank her enough for the sheer effort she has given and actually made us feel like her only client.
What a fabulous team of people.

I have been renting a property through wards and have been having constant issues, I have been reporting and reporting and never getting anywhere. I second the bad reviews for the Strood office!
Quality of service was disappointing. Communication is appauling. I got an offer accepted on a property and started the paper work. Halfway through the process I get a call to say they are going with someone else! They later call me to reverse this decision.
The service is absolutely appauling. They pressure you to go with their solicitors so they get a commission on every refferal they make. It even gets to a point where they blackmail you into going with their solicitors. The solicitors are also not great and very expensive. I have been talking to trainees and the office managers so any queries I have go unanswered. We should get reduction on fees for using their estate agents not them to get a fee for squeezing us dry! A house is already an expensive purchase.
Ward and partners need to remember that although this is business as normal for them, buying a house a big deal to customers and we expect a certain level of service, support and professionalism.
I am extremely disappointed in the whole experience. We didn't need the severe ups and downs. I got the house in the end (through no assistance of these estate agents)

Disgusted with the Strood branch . I have never had such a awful experience with an estate agents before...
It started off all ok, had a open house booked in for the 2nd week of the house being on the market..we hear nothing back from Ashley or Abi. We call the office to try and obtain some feedback after the 5 viewings. Nothing.. they either don't answer or say they will call us back, nothing. When they eventually get back to us a week later, they suggest doing another open house and reducing the price , still with no feedback, we agree to give it ago... two weeks later its the open house and we have heard nothing despite trying to call to find out if there are any bookings. We then receive and Email from Ashley at 7 o'clock the evening before , confirming the weekends bookings. The open house takes place and then they say someone might want to view at 2oclock as well but never confirm anything and said they will get back to us, they never got back to us and the family turned up anyway at the house anyway!
Lastly, the worst of all, They told us we had a viewing booked in for 10 o'clock this Sunday easter morning, which we had already said no to but sent us an email confirmation to say its going ahead ? So we had to cancle our plans for family to stay over and have a day here last minute ... then no one even turns up. no estate agent... no person to view the house.. and no phone call. This is appalling customer service and awful communication !! I would not recommend.

Do not trust the words from the staff and manager at this estate agents. We have lost our chain twice due to their lies. If you have any dealings with them I suggest you check everything they do. We found Wards after sales very good. A lady called Deana handled our sales progression and I cannot speak highly enough of Deana. She would regularly update us and chased our solicitor and buyer for the information required. Deana is a credit to Wards and she made a stressful time that bit more bearable.

Without their support the sale of my father's house would not have gone anywhere near as smoothly. It was such a relief for us as a family knowing that we could rely on Ward and Partners to support us. We also feel that Ash got us a higher price for the house than any other agent would have done in the area. This was borne out by the lower selling price others suggested. The market price suggested by him was much higher and it was a risk, but he was right and worked extremely hard to sell the property as quickly as possible. They earnt every penny of the commission we paid. We would have no hesitation in recommending them to any potential seller.

I have just sold my house with ward&partners in strood.
They were absolutely fantastic really professional and helpful.
The photos and brochure they did for us was amazing ,it was of a very high standard which obviously proves the better it looks the more people will view and thus my house was sold in 4 days!
Nothing was too much trouble for any of them at the branch, they excell in what they do and exceeded all my expectations .
I would definately recommend them to anyone wanting to sell.
