I have had the frustration of dealing with Brannen & Partners as the "management company" for five years now as they manage the building I live in. During this time I have experienced repeatedly most of the issues the other one star reviewers have left. The communication and customer service from the company is truly terrible, regardless of what you need, a meter reading or a fix to a problem, expect at best a long delayed response which will contain an excuse before possibly getting an answer. Most responses you do get avoid acknowledgement of any main points you query or raise. When the building flooded previously, resulting in my property being flooded, it took months for Brannen to admit responsibility and look to resolve; countless emails from myself went unanswered for up to weeks at a time before I’d get any response. Eventually my damp and damaged property got sorted out. If you are happy to be a tenant of a company that truly don’t care about you and you can handle great levels of frustration, sign up now. Or, if you want good service, or even just average service, look for a different agent.

Also a shocking and rude communication style by Block Managers, who are generally unhelpful and lacking in any basic customer service knowledge or skills. Brannens seem to forget that they are supposed to be providing a service to the block owners, Directors and tenants who 'pay them!'
They are a complete shambles of a company in a 'currently' poorly regulated sector of block management.....
Save yourself the trouble and money and avoid them at all costs, or read other peoples reviews!

The lady we dealt with, Barbara, claimed that we were only owed one day's rent when we were owed three days. She repeatedly claimed that we were wrong and we had to escalate the complaint to the owner. This woman was rude beyond belief! and arrogant to boot. Shaun Brennan handled the complaint and whilst we were eventually given the correct refund, he failed to apologise and was barely able to string an email together.

Brannen act as the property managers for the freehold that controls my apartment. They have been in charge for 18 months and have allowed all maintenance issues to drag on indefinitely. There is serious water damage to the property that has not been maintained; a broken lock to the block has not been fixed after 4 months; there is evidence of water ingress in multiple sites. The agent has been dismissive, evasive, and arrogant in all communication. I would strongly advise customers to avoid this company and seek alternatives. In 20+ years of living in this property they are the singularly worst agent I have had the misfortune to deal with.

I have dealt with them twice and had bad experiences. Called up to view a property and they said it was a 3 week waiting list to view it and never got back to me. The second was when we viewed a property and put an offer in. They said they would talk to the land lord and let us know. They called back to say that the land lord was going ahead with more viewing but they will be in touch when they come to a decision, I even said I was happy to pay extra a month and to let the landlords know which the guy said he won't because we would be paying £20 extra for the dog anyway. 5 days goes by and haven't heard anything, look on their website and see that a let has been agreed and they haven't bothered to notify us. They can't even do their jobs right and it has honestly made me never want to use them again.

Our ongoing issue with this appalling company continues. Despite paying increased sums to clear service charge arrears, they are now threatening us with legal action. We recently paid £200 and they are now demanding a further £600 in 7 days. The arrears occured when work was done on our bathroom and as we didn't have the money, it was added to our account. Despite offering to clear the arrears by the end of 2020, they are now demanding the full payment up to and including July 2021. My wife is ill with worry and has recently been prescribed anxiety tablets by her GP. Please beware this company. They have no empathy and use bullying tactics to try and get money up front. We're now at the point of accepting they will take legal action against us however, we simply don't have the amount of money they are demanding. How many people would knowingly pay for services they are yet to receive especially when the service received is so poor? Brannen are a company who extort money from vulnerable residents to pay for work on upmarket properties. Disgusting customer service. AVOID.

During this time I have experienced repeatedly most of the issues the other one star reviewers have left. I have been renting a property with this letting agency for around 6 months. Initially they did not take my first months rent despite me setting this up prior to moving in. When contacting the agency about this a very rude and disgusting woman advised me I should have read the terms and conditions? What this had to do with anything I am still yet to understand. I tried to pay for the deposit and first months rent prior to moving in with a card and was told no facilities were available to pay by card!!!!? I was then told my father could not pick up my keys despite me being at work because I needed to sign paperwork? I asked if I could be given a copy of this to sign straight away and was advised the "admin team" were not available. I then asked if this could be emailed to me to sign and send back to them, it took 3 or 4 attempts for them to understand and agree to this simple request. All the while the customer service from the two male staff was non existent and myself and my father were treat like idiots. Since moving in I have had issues with damp and mould in the property, I was told when moving in not to dry any clothes on the radiator as the previous tenant had had issues with damp. I followed this and ensured windows were left open regularly for ventilation purposes. Despite this I have mould rising up my bathroom and bedroom walls, the agency tried to blame me for this and said it was just condensation due to time of year. Shockingly they even asked me to clean the mould and paint over it myself. There is no communication between landlord and agency and coming from their mouths directly it is clear the letting agency lie to avoid blame, do not communicate and really do nothing to earn the title or money for "managing the property." They have tried to bring prospective tenants round whilst I have been waiting to move out despite the damp and mould issues and despite the landlord advising he wanted to sort the issues out prior to anyone else moving in. Terrible company, no sense of professionalism and lie to avoid responsibility which I have caught them out on several times (and even have email evidence to prove this) stay away!!!!

We as residents, sent a letter to Brannen outlining our concerns stating we’d be withholding service charges until they agreed to meet us to discuss our concerns. Not only have they continually ignored our meeting requests, they simply ignore our letter and continually send demands for money and threaten us with legal action.
Despite my wife and I being so desperate and going to their office, no one would see us. We were promised a phone call, again nothing apart from a threatening note in return post.
Disgusting company who use bullying tactics to intimidate residents.

Brannan and partners are the managing agent for my property. They have invoiced me my annual service charge but i don't know what i am paying for. They have told me to employ my own accountant to workout how much they are charging me. How can my accountant know what they are charging me, how "ridiculous". I must say they are the most unprofessional bunch of malicious cowboys i have ever come across. Please please avoid them and take your business elsewhere. They've got to understand you can not mess people around.
