Even a one star is generous.I have several properties unfortunately I ended using Foxtons on one and level of service is a nightmare.you can never speak to people who are responsible for your property as they are always in meetings and promises are made you will get call back ,still waiting!
Been with Foxtons since June 2018 have had to complain on numerous occasions.Wrote to CEO not even a professional courtesy of a reply

Requested to view a specific property was told to wait as there are already many lined up. Sure thing, but agent also asked a thousand questions as to why we want that specific property. Answered all and even wrote in an email the 3 main features we need.
Same evening agent calls back to let us know we "got lucky" and there is an opening the very next day mid-afternoon. It's quite last minute to us with work but we move around/cancel some meetings and rush to the appointment. We get there just on time, agent is very relaxed and took over 10m just to get the keys and his car. A bit strange as we thought the viewings are strictly timetabled but fine.
We get in his car and he starts chatting and asking more questions many of which are repeated from before. At one point I ask if this is the optimal way to the flat as we are headed a weird way and he casually notes "oh we are not viewing that flat as there is an offer for it already". We freak out and but he insists he'll show us something "just as good if not better". We are still super shocked and angry but thought at this point what could we lose.
He proceeds to show us another flat that is not only not the same price but doesn't even have 2/3 key things we repeatedly asked for and even wrote down. We literally repeated these in the car and yet he proceeded to waste our time with something not matching.
After this he still had the audacity to ask "what we think" and wanted to show us more places that are "even better". Mind you we were already 20m past the "open slot". Thankfully this flat was close to the tube so at this point we just walked away but that still wouldn't stop him from repeatedly calling us the day after.
I know the job of these agents is to sell, but this way of creating a false sense of urgency to then completely wate our time should be straight up criminal. After this experience we definitely won't even consider any flat marketed by Foxtons since who knows if they'd actually show us the same place.

Terrible experience with Foxtons Canary Wharf. My letting agent was tony chan who seemed to constantly be on holiday or be unavailable. We had problems right from the start such as no shower head and mould in the shower. Not what you expect when you are paying £3,500 a month for a small 2 bed. NOTHING was done about the shower head and mould the whole 9 months we were there… that is until we handed in our 2 months notice then we saw some urgency to get these problems fixed. I would highly recommend using a different letting agent. Knight Frank have delt with us 10x better since we have moved out.

Everything up until you move in was amazing! The two letting agents in the process was great help. However, the nightmare only begins after you’ve moved in. The property manager (Jenna) has been the worst I’ve ever had in my 5 years of time in the UK. How on earth can a property manager literally knows nothing about the flat she was managing? She didn’t inform us prior to move in that the flat was on a prepayment meter which initially caused us to run out of hot water for days. She later told us that “she didn’t know it was on a prepayment”. Maintenance issues including black mold in the bathroom, ventilation system in the flat not working affecting both kitchen and the bathroom, broken window, blocked drain on the first day, washing machine with rigid mold that made literally it look burnt, washing machine flooding the flat entrance for 2 weeks straight, you name them. The landlady still till today refused to resolve some of these issues mentioned above which clearly can be evidenced for breaches of contract as it clearly stated in the contract that she is responsible for the maintenance of the flat as well as conducting inventory prior to tenants moving in.

It was my pleasure to finally do successful business with Foxtons lettings manager Ketan Sudra and his team specially Karolis Sadauskas.
After 20 viewings - the highest among all estate agents - I got three offers, then accepted one which matched my requirements apart from the moving in date.
Thanks to MyFoxtons, the entire process was fully automated with visibility to myself as a landlord during the full process till finally the tenants moved in.
Naturally, I will carry on doing business with Foxtons in the future, as I did since I bought my first London flat 1994 through Foxtons Notting Hill, then lettings since 2006 all over London ( Notting Hill, London Bridge, Canary Wharf and Shoreditch branches ).

Where should I start? Last year we rent a house with them and we regret it. Our ceiling went down all over our living room and that is not even the worst part. The worst part is they did not even check the safety of the house properly. We could have been dead! Also, they said they want to pay the cost out of our deposit. They did not manage to do it so the landlord fixed the house. There were many other issues such as water leaks, insects. There were worms in our water tank and we couldn't use the hot water because of it. Foxtons did not want to do anything about our problems with the house. And now we moved and they want to charge 300 pounds for a missing bulb which is not even true.

He never picks or return calls, hardly finds solution to issues that are important. The only service he handles efficiently is writing mails to let you know he's on leave. Moved out of my previous apartment 5 months ago and up until now Foxtons claims they haven't heard from the landlord with regards to or deposit.

Your energy was infectious and it got me even more excited about the flat hunting process :) THANK YOU for paying attention to EXACTLY what I was looking for and not missing out on the details.
This process has been seamless and I was so pleased to be working with a team where I got updates regularly and such quick replies, even at ungodly hours (unfortunate to the unsociable hours that I work). Each flat viewing was well organised, and I got all the important information in a timely manner from personal reviews of other tenants to realistic bill breakdowns. Its coming up to my 2 months of living here and I LOVE every part of it. I have already recommended you to all of my close friends and family who are looking for the best :) Thank you for helping me find my first home! I would use Foxtons again in a heartbeat.

Please read the experience that I had suffered from.
First, Rachel was our sale agent and she never replies to the message even she was online. There were so many problems in the property since I moved in. We supposed to move in on the 11th of September, but they did not clean the property until we told them it was fully unclean. Then, they did not check the property before people move in. The electricity cut off and Rachel didn't even know it needs to be top-up, also, many of the lights were broken.
Viral Ruparel is my property manager. When you had an issue with your property, he did not care about it. At first, I was asking for the sublet and I found a new tenant to take the place, but the process of changing the tenant took forever and made the new tenant cannot move in on the date she supposed to, so she became homeless and forced to find a new location. After this, the flatmate who I was living with is Jo-Chi Chu (Gina) and she broke into my room without my consent, even used my room, threw away and stole my belongings. I was really scared, (I did report to the police) I ask Foxtons and the agent for giving assistance on this issue, even send a warning message will make the thing easier, yet Viral Ruparel chose to listen to the potential perpetrator's words and called me to warn me that should not let anyone into the room (the problem here is, there was nobody living in my room since I was out of town and this made me super confused where was this false information came from). This made me very sad and I could not believe that Viral as a reliable agent handling the incident is so frustrating. I was trying so so hard to deal with the issue. This way of handling made me feel sad and scared and this cannot help but make people suspect that he tried to fight a foreigner's right. My rights have been violated, and Viral as to represent Foxtons, provide me with the services that I do not deserve. Plus, I was fully paid. He also used the problem that I had with my former flatmate Jo-Chi Chu (Gina) to put pressure on me that I did not receive any apology and compensation. This brought me frustrated since I do not understand why a property manager who received my fully paid money act like this (I can provide the screenshot of the email Viral sent me). I am super sad and will never ever choose to work with Foxtons.
Guys, please think twice before you choose Foxtons. If you have a problem with your property, they will not care about it and will even push the responsibility on you without any accurate information because they got your money.

The worst experience I have ever had in dealing with estate agents. Both of these guys were the utter epitome of slimy estate agents who do not care about you and quite literally just want to take your money. From booking the first viewing - I called on a Saturday and spoke to David Morgan who agreed to do a viewing on Monday (there was no mention of having to ask the current tenants to confirm from him, he just just out-rightly said it was booked) - I did not recieve a confirmation email all the way up until the Monday 10am - (the viewing was booked for 11am) - so ended up calling the the branch again who had NO record of me even calling to book! Eventually one of the staff members traced the call back to David's number (this staff member also said this is quite usual of David's behaviour). I eventually saw the property and my sister too and we both agreed to make an offer. Suddenly, David messaged me to say the flat is only available THREE WEEKS after we already agreed to move/the date he told us and blamed it on the current tenants. I said we would have to think about it but he ended up being very pushy with his words in forcing me to extend my current tenancy as âIt would be a great price to get this one in The Sphere so hopefully you can accommodate those couple of weeks?â (I have the text messages). I didn't hear back from my current agent immediately with regards to extending and David was even saying he would get in touch with them himself! So unpleasantly forceful! As if it ends there. Me and my sister decided to make an offer and David asked us to come back to the office where his colleague would be to put down the offer etc as he stated he couldn't(?). Waiting at the office suddenly his colleague âwas out at a viewingâ and âcouldn't get in touch with himâ. So we decided to leave and agreed I would get a phone call in the morning the next day to confirm the offer. The next morning I revive a text message form David to say he was âsuddenly off sick...and at the GPâ and that someone else had put an offer in so we would have to make our âbest offerâ. I cannot believe this...It was promised that this colleague âKetanâ would be calling me at 9am - obviously I didn't get a call and had to call the branch around 11/12? Maybe even later to be called back. When Ketan eventually called me back he asked me how I could be helped? Surely he knew that we were trying to make an offer since yesterday and that he was supposed to call me at 9am!? No apology at all and in actual fact he was rude and obnoxious and pushed me to increase my offer and length of contact without a break clause saying the landlord would âtake the best offerâ. Before the phone call ended I asked when he would get back to me on whether the landlord would accept or not, he said by the end the of the day - this was Friday 6th July, it's now Thursday 26th.... and nothing. I did not call to enquire because quite frankly we had had enough, luckily we have found a beautiful place to live now but stuck with an extra two weeks rent to pay at my current place due to the awful cut-throat behaviour of these two staff members of Foxtons - mainly David Morgan. Our whole experience with this agency has been absolutely disgusting and I will genuinely shout to the hills and back to everyone NOT to use them.
