Starting with the initial valuation, Tony Carlton visited my property and was very polite on entry, even taking his shoes off without the need to. After a look around the property discussing each room and what they had going for them Tony sat down with me to discuss the valuation. He was prepared with a number of properties similar to mine that they had recently sold to give me an idea what I may be looking at. I was realistic with the value I was expecting and assumed that most estate agents would over value just to get your business. Tony gave me a realistic valuation and was happy to discuss the reason why I wanted to up it a little bit so we ended agreeing a sensible price.
At this point I hadn't chosen Mansbridge & Balment as my agent but Tony asked if he could take some photos just so they were ready if I did want to go ahead. I was happy for this to happen.
Once I had seen a few other Agents I decided Mansbridge and Balment were the agent for me, and after seeing the photos I'm glad I did, they were amazing and really made my home look the best it could. (I even wanted to buy it!)
During the selling process Vanessa Marsden took over as my main contact and would contact me at least once a week or even more if she had news to share, keeping me informed at all stages of the sale. She was always available to answer questions, on the phone and over email.
In conclusion I couldn't have seen the sale going any better from the Agent side of things, it was the first property I have sold and wouldn't hesitate to go back to Mansbridge & Balment for my next sale. In this review I picked out two members of staff that I mainly dealt with, but all staff that I had contact with were friendly and gave experienced advice and information.
