We let our family home through blundells (military family so couldn’t stay in the home). We wanted legal and rent guarantee we got messed about right from the start in regards to this and eventually got it in writing that we had legal and rent guarantee only to be told a YEAR later we never actually had it and they now won’t add it due to tenant having been in arrears. We called multiple times throughout the year and mentioned the rent and legal and NO ONE corrected us. We were lied to for a whole year and probably would have carried on lying had we not checked when renewing the lease with the tenant.

Terrible
Do not bother renting with them. They won't follow through with repairs properly. I lived in a property managed by them. For nearly two years I lived with extreme water damage in the roof. The final straw for me was a mouse infestation with a cheap pest control guy who took his traps back after a week. Avoid avoid avoid.

I am very pleased with how Blundells found me a lovely flat to move into. Debbie and her team were efficient, concise and prompt with their responses and management. I did not have to do too much as they took care of everything and did an excellent job. Thank you for your support and for finding me a place so quickly since I moved here at the end of June. Great team work.

I have been flat seeking in Sheffield for a couple of weeks.
Blundells are basically impossible to avoid across flat hunting sites and they have multiple policies that seem to be designed to manipulate possible tennants into accepting properties sight unseen.
Of the 5 flats I've enquired about, each time I have been told that in-person viewings weren't possible.
When I finally gave in to FOMO and called to request a property based only on a video, I was suddenly told that viewings had been booked that day and that I hadn't been contacted due to a substantial waiting list.
Each over the phone contact I've had has been unfriendly bordering on passive aggressive.
After giving permission to be contacted about other properties they seem to be hand picked from exceptionally small flats at the same price range as the ones I originally enquired about- that's just part of the business, but it's insulting after trying to engage in good faith.
Incredibly negative experiences with this company at a very stressful time.

Really good service. Thanks, Liam and Freddie for helping me. Their quick response promotes my renting progress. They are very professional. Millicent also shared a lot of properties that may be suitable for me at the beginning, although I did not choose one, I still feel appreciated.

We immigrated from South Africa and Jo was incredibly efficient in getting us moved in to our new home (a home for our 2 & 1 year old) within 2 days
He was more than accommodating, friendly and went out of his way to make this happen for us - we are so grateful

I am never one to write reviews, particularly bad reviews but thought it was necessary on this occasion.
If I could give this company zero stars then I would.
Put an offer in on a property on Monday and was advised by the agent they would get back to me asap.
I heard nothing by Wednesday so chased this up (took 4 phonecalls and a voicemail until I finally got through) after which I was told that they could not get hold of the vendor (seems a bit strange when your wanting to sell your house that you aren't able to be contacted for over 48 hours).
I then followed this up on the Friday afternoon as I still had heard nothing back after which I received an email saying that the vendor had gone with another offer on this occasion.
Not once were we contacted to try and up our offer like other estate agents have done when I have purchased houses in the past. Overall, I just found the communication extremely poor and I can't help but think if I hadn't have chased this up myself this afternoon that they wouldn't have even had the decency to phone me back and let me know of the outcome.
Also their Mortgage advisor (I won't name them personally but works for Countrywide Mortgage Services) hasn't responded to an email I sent them 10 days ago asking for further advice.
Finally, they are absolutely terrible at answering the phone!! I have tried multiple times at various times of the day to get hold of them and I think only once did they pick up. Again, so unprofessional and if I had employed them to sell my house I would be extremely concerned that they aren't answering the phone to people who want to purchase their property/make offers.
