About Doug
My connection to estate agency dates back to the 1960’s. I fondly remember my father working for a company with offices in South East London. I suppose I inherited his genes as I thoroughly enjoy the business and all things property.
I was born and bred locally, so Greenwich is close to my heart. The area has cha
nged dramatically and the variety this brings gives great enjoyment to me in my role, as you never face the same day twice. I should know as have worked in Greenwich for 28 years now!
I am very proud of the relationships I build with my clients who come back to me time and time again, looking for their next move and staying loyal to me, I consider this the greatest of compliments.
Outside of work I am a passionate supporter of Charlton Athletic FC. I also keep a keen eye on the developments at my old school Colfe’s, and especially how they are getting along on the sports fields.

Really pleased with the service provided by Conran and Doug especially, when it came to helping me and my partner out with buying a house in Greenwich.

Buying your first home is an exciting but daunting experience with lots of questions but Doug and the team took great effort to keep us as well informed as they could at every turn and calm our nerves!
It is clear to see that property is a passion for Doug and he takes a great deal of care and joy finding people their perfect home!
My partner and I are so very grateful for the care, time and attention the Greenwich team took with helping us through the process and I can’t praise them enough!

Doug and the team at Conran were great! We used them for the sale of our two bed house in Greenwich and they were always quick to respond, conscientious, and did their best for us - offering counsel and adivce to help us navigate what is not always an easy process. In our case, the sale was not always straight forward, as we were part of a chain and not everyone was always the easiest to work with, but Doug did his best to keep everyone he could happy and we got it over the line in the end - which is what matters! I would happily recommend Conran and Doug to anyone looking to sell or buy, and I would certainly use them again!

He helped us sell the property we bought with them years ago and, even though the sale was fraught with conveyancing difficulties, his calm positivity and resolve made all the difference.
