Have just exchanged on a property as the buyer through Sterling. Sterling were not my agent in this process but will certainly be in future. The vendor's agent, Colin, was in contact and supportive of ensuring the sale went through at all stages. He was honest, communicable, approachable and considering he was not acting on my behalf, extremely helpful throughout.
I personally used Purple Bricks for my sale whose after sale care was nonexistent leaving me to do all of the leg work. Without Colin's assistance this would have been much more difficult. Sterling truly offer a service that I thought went above and beyond expectations.
If I am to sell again in future, Sterling have already earned my listing.

We recently sold our property with Sterling. We had been on the market for 6 months with a well known competitor and not been impressed with the level of contact and updates after the viewings we were having.
From the moment we approached Sterling the experience was completely different. They were quick to come back to us and presented alternative marketing strategies to try and get a sale. We got a good vibe from them and decided to switch agent.
Within 2 weeks we were under offer. What was particularly pleasing was the way that we always knew what was happening and didn't need to chase anything at all. The sale was part of a long chain and at no point were we finding ourselves unaware of where everybody was at.
Colin has been great throughout the whole process and his experience and tenacity with chasing up buyers and solicitors meant we always felt like he was working for us. He even got us the exact asking price for the property!
The rest of the team in the office are great too and if Colin was even out on a viewing we were looked after just as well.
I can't recommend them enough and for me there is only one choice of agent to use in future. I strongly advise you to consider using Sterling over the competition. Thank you Colin and team

I have been extremely pleased with how the sale of my home was conducted. Colin provided a supporting hand at every stage: the initial sale valuation, which agreed with my own expectation; arranging many viewings in a short space of time; securing a sale in just over a week; exemplary liaison with the purchasers, the other agents in the 'chain' and, when required, the solicitors; and always on hand for guidance, support and impartial advice. Always very professional. As a result the whole processes, even when things got difficult, was almost stress-free: a rare accolade when it comes to moving home. Buying and selling can be fraught and punctuated with ups and down, the guys at Sterling made this activity as smooth as they possibly could. We dealt with both Colin and Joe and not only were they professional, informed and knowledgeable but ultimately they helped us through this process. They communicated effectively and regularly, keeping us updated, with a tad of humour and sensitivity thrown in for good measure too, easing those key pressure points! A Sterling service which went above and beyond
If you need an estate agent who understands your needs and is willing to go that extra mile and battle on your behalf, I cannot recommend Sterling enough.
Ours was a difficult sale, the details of which I will not go into. But suffice to say without Colin's and Matthew's expertise, I am sure we would have pulled out.
At every stage Colin kept us informed and kept on assuring us. His life-long experience of dealing with people was clear.
As we got frustrated Colin was there to reassure us. He was always a picture of calm and optimism, and in the end he delivered on his promise.
By the way, don't be afraid to use Sterling's recommended lawyers. Colin made it his personal mission to ensure we were looked after.
And for those who think that for estate agents it's all about the sale - Colin and his team showed that wasn't the case. In his own time, after work Colin helped us above and beyond what he was supposed to do, We will never forget Colin or Sterling. Thank you.

As a first time buyer, having looked for a property for a few years via various agents in the area, I finally felt I struck gold in finding Sterling and having Colin by my side along the whole process. All estate agents previous, I believed, weren’t trustworthy, far less knowledgable and generally made me feel uncomfortable, until now. Colin, Thank you. A genuinely trustworthy person, who had all the time in the world to deal with my questions, a lot mostly for my lack of knowledge being a younger first time buyer. Colin and his colleague (who’s name I didn’t find out when picking up my heys, apologies) even very kindly off of their own back went to remove items from the property that were remaining from the property previously being rented out, to ensure it met my satisfaction upon completion. Even after the keys have now been handed over, the offer of any further help and advice is there, which is very reassuring to know. I don’t know what the future holds for when I may move again but I will endeavour when possible to use Sterling and Colin again, for in them I certainly trust.
