Having rented of lots of agents over the years I can honestly say Shelton and Lines are by far the best. Emma and Michelle were fantastic, very knowledgeable and helpful. Both of them are a credit to the company and what letting agents should be. Highly recommend.

My boyfriend and I rented our first place via Shelton and lines we they couldn't have been more accommodating for us both. Everything was explained clearly from the start in terms of fees and referencing. The owner of the property I rented felt it was acceptable not to spend any money on the property so most of it was downright shabby and the rest dangerous. I was once asked to photograph a drip from a leaking tap before anyone would come round!! I was told to buy myself a lighter because the ignition on the hob didn't work and wouldn't be fixed. I was told numerous times nothing would be done and eventually was told "If you don't like it, move out". Whilst I acknowledge that S&L aren't able to do much if an owner doesn't want to take action but Emma's attitude became more and more obtuse as my tenancy progressed. She was rude on the phone to my cleaner at the end and ignored direct questions in my emails. It has taken 3 weeks to get my deposit released. There were no deductions from my deposit just them being difficult.
