We appointed Winkworth as managing agents of our flat to relieve some stress from managing the property ourselves. We appointed Winkworth as managing agents of our flat to relieve some stress from managing the property ourselves. However due to a lack of care of duty from Winkworth, the stress increased tenfold for us due to the fact that they let the property to tenants without a valid signed AST contract in place which caused numerous problems with then seeking reposession and claiming damages from the deposit.

I approached Winkworth for an urgent letting via the phone. Within 2 hours, I was at the subject property showing it to Aaron Priscott. He understood instantly the profile of prospective tenants that I would consider. Within 24 hours; he had found suitable tenants. The AST needed slight tailoring and I was liaising with his colleague Christine Boyd to draft this at c8.30 pm, which was certainly impressive I thought. Winkworth dealt with arranging all of the admin including arranging cleaners; inventory; extra keys cut; dealing with the deposit scheme etc; which certainly took away all of the headaches of doing this my self. Moreover, they did all of this quickly and efficiently with third parties that charged reasonable prices. I would strongly recommend.

I chose Winkworth because I was impressed with their high level of professionalism combined with their good price. Their service didn't quite match what Foxtons were giving me - but the Winkworth staff far out-stripped the service of the three or four other estate agents I had approached and they weren't charging the excessive fees of Foxtons.
The team kept me updated regularly, and very important to me - were honest and I felt this was a 'good' business deal, rather than feeling I was being taken for a ride (which Foxtons left me feeling).
I would recommend the Willesden Green team.
