The property was left in a dreadful state after 12mths. The tenants left owing 3mth rent, they stole items from the property. These tenants in my opinion were not properly vetted, as they owed money all over the place. The garage door was completely wrecked and all RA Bennett were interested in was taking their 10 per cent commission. We would not recommend them at all. In order for the house to be re-let it cost lots to put right the damage that was done. The agent did take a deposit for this, but to our astonishment they stated they would need to contact the tenants to ask their permission in order for this not to be returned to them. Never mind they stole big items from the house, never mind they completely wrecked the garage door, never mind the went owing 3mths rent. RA Bennett we're not interested in any of this. It makes me wonder why we even bothered with an agent like this, we might have saved a fortune if we did it ourselves as they certainly in my opinion did nothing for us.

Our house was a small sixteenth-century listed cottage; and, as such, its appeal was limited to a niche market. Having previously been up for sale for eighteen months with three other agents, we decided to let Bennets have a go at selling it. We are very glad we did, for the cottage sold very quickly. From start to finish the selling team's performance was professional and friendly, and they responded to all enquiries efficiently and promptly.
We would certainly use Bennets of Solihull again!

What agent could do to change your mind?
Answer the phone, respond to messages, reply to emails, get an answer machine, invest in some customer service, learn that you may act for the seller but shouldn\'t treat buyers with such poor service.
I cannot believe what a waste of space these people are. I put an offer in at the end of February and had it accepted. We stipulated that the move had to be completed mid-May. We chased constantly to get the paperwork from them. They don't answer calls, they don't respond to email and they don't have answer machine facilities. When you do get through, the person you want is not there, they person on the end of the phone can't find the file and promises they will call you back; a call that never comes. It took until April to get the memorandum of sale out which the had the wrong solicitors and completion date on it, the only correct information was the property address. We then pushed to get correct details and a date. They told us that the date was agreed with the vendor. Our solicitors have just been told that the vendor has never been told by R A Bennett of the proposed date and will not be in a position to move until June. We went and spoke directly to the vendor and she confirmed that dates where never discussed and that she had had a similarly poor experience with them. I would avoid at all costs. The worst customer service ever.
