These fees are exorbitant. We managed to bargain them down but not as far as we would like. I am looking forward to new laws coming into place that ban these fees -- in my view it is an extortionate and unfair practice that prospective tenants should not be subjected to.

Agency fees were alright, not too much or more than the average agency. The added bonus being that they take care of the property on behalf the landlord, meaning that whatever we have paid in fees comes back in service to us.

Paying in two 6 monthly instalments so received a small discount. Considering the monthly rent I would expect the landlord to purchase curtains that fit the windows and are not a foot too short.
