After having a very stressful time looking for an apartment to rent in London, and lots of rejections with other companies, we were so happy to come across the nicest and hard working estate agent we've ever met, Lloyd! He did everything for us to ...

Comment on agent fees
The fees included referencing and I felt that was done (by a 3rd party) quite poorly, and used up too much of my time. It seemed to me to have been done by a junior team (probably to the best of their ability) but I'm not sure what value they were able to add apart from being a way to tick boxes and say "we have done references". In particular the reference agency was the same as had been used by a different letting agent for me a year or so back, and yet they came to me repeatedly for help in getting a reference regarding that previous let, including to get the contact details of the letting agent, and then asking me to chase them.

I just wanted to write and thank Jaimie and Lloyd personally as they were both fantastically helpful, knowledgeable & proactive throughout a rather complex and difficult sale of one of my properties. Jaimie explained things to me free of jargon, negotiated so well on my behalf ...
