The fee structure meant that you were effectively paying fees every year as if you were starting a new lease in a new property. On the other hand the check in and check out of the flat, although payed for by the tenant, is performed by an independent person. This makes the process fair and equal to both parties.

Overall Fees

Fees and Payments (as permitted under the Tenant Fees Act 2019)
Holding Deposit - One week's rent
Security Deposit - 5 weeks rent to £50,000pa or 6 weeks if higher
Change of Tenant or sharer - £50 inc VAT or reasonable costs if higher
