I am sorry you feel this way, my recollection of the facts is as follows; We found you a buyer who offered 98.5 % of the original asking price and their initial offer was made 16 days after commencing marketing. They withdrew after waiting for you for almost 2 months. The open day produced 4 viewings. We give honest feedback and obtained a further offer. ...

Thankyou for your review. It is common practice for estate agents to erect sold boards with stc in small print once an offer is accepted. In relation to the quick sale, the marketing was planned with you to get a good result; a guide price combined with an open day event. We expect a number of buyers and hope for more than one offer- which we achieved. A guide allows buyers to offer more if they think a house is worth it, therefore the open market price is well explored. ...

Considering we had previously rented the house for 3 years with the same company, I would have hoped for a slightly better discount on the fees, especially when one saw what was been offered elsewhere. Having said that the team we dealt with , headed By Lizzie Freemantle, ably supported by Nic and Ashley and others, did do a very good job.

What agent could do to change your mind?
Kept us updated throughout the sale. We felt that they should have been fully aware of what stage each party was at the whole way through the chain. We were getting conflicting stories from our buyer, the conveyancing and from Gascgoines. Had all the staff involved been as consciousness as Barry, we feel the sale would have gone through much smoother.
