Another agent had suggested marketing for 20k more but we wanted a quick sale so opted for the price Sophie suggested. However, our final decision to use Dixons was based on the marketing costs which Dixons quoted which were lower than the other agent.

Another agent had suggested marketing for 20k more but we wanted a quick sale so opted for the price Sophie suggested. However, our final decision to use Dixons was based on the marketing costs which Dixons quoted which were lower than the other agent.
An agent accompanied viewers as we did not live at the property. Initially, they contacted us with feedback quite promptly but after a couple of weeks we were having to contact them for feedback and Dixons did not always return our calls. We feel that this aspect of the service could be improved.
The property did not sell despite lowering the price so we then signed up for the 'Premier listing' at extra cost with nicer photos (the original photos were not really that good) and a higher profile online. This seemed to attract more viewers so we would recommend this listing from the start. Our property did sell after about 12 weeks.
On reflection, i think that paying the extra for Premier Listing at first might have resulted in a quicker sale.
