Stay well clear!!! Awful company and tie you into a never-ending contract - £360 should you take your house off the market even after the 20 weeks. They even tried to add someone who didn't come to view our house. There are far better estate agents out ...

AVOID! Absolutely disgraceful service and communication from Bev and her team in Alfreton. Firstly they shared my contact details with the exB, something they were told specifically not to do, due to ongoing and persistent abuse. Then they did it again! I informed them prior ...

I can only speak from my experience & of the agents I've dealt with, the Alfreton branch are head & shoulders above the competition. Excellent communication, when they said they would do something, they did. Thank you...

Avoid renting through this company. Throughout my tenancy issues with property were not sorted and we're never followed up on. If you enjoy being treated like a child and not a professional person, and enjoy being patronised, then this is the company to go for. ...

I am currently in a tenancy agreement with Derbyshire Properties, and I have to say I am absolutely appalled. I have been living in the current property for over a year now, there are many issues. The kitchen is unsanitary, kitchen doors falling off, grouting ...

What agent could do to change your mind?
For me to approve they would have to be more in contact with there tenants and landlords once an issue has arisen, and keep everyone informed. They should become more aware of landlord and tenants rights, they should make sure their tenancy agreements do not have contradictory information, which is ultimately misleading and possibly invalidating agreements. They should also get expert opinions about structural faults, not sending out one of their employees that has less of a clue than myself. They should make landlords have inspections by the environmental health office before renting out the properties. Last but not least they should have manners!
