Extremely disappointed said about Connells

I had a viewing arranged on a property and the agent was not there at the agreed time. I waited nearly 10 minutes before calling as I knew traffic was heavy. Upon speaking to the office a lady said she would call the person who was due to be completing the viewing and call me back. He called me back over 5 minutes later to say he would not be coming as some details about proceedability had not been answered. As I was viewing on behalf of somebody else and he asked this question an hour before the viewing, having booked it 4 days ago, I hadn't been able to confirm but had asked for the viewing to still go ahead. At this stage I was spoken to like I have never been spoken to before by an agent as he proceeded to say it was my fault and that he was in the right. An awful experience to say the least. A great shame as at the same time I was dealing with the Werrington office as well and found the lady there very polite and professional.

I recently used Corey Whelan from Connells to market my property for rent. I found him to be proactive in finding me a tenant within the time period specified. Heidi was the staff member involved in my lettings process, not only did she recognise the type of place I was looking for based on our first meeting and general conversation but she was also very friendly, accommodating and professional despite being the only one in the office dealing with lettings at the time. The first property she showed me turned out to be the one I chose.

The first property she showed me turned out to be the one I chose.
The only downfall I can think of is the high administration fees Connells has. For a reason that is fairly unclear to me they are substantially higher than the other estate agents I used in the area, though I will admit that the service was quick and easy so perhaps that accounts for some of it.
Overall, my experience with Connells has been a very positive one, and would not hesitate to recommend their services to others.

I'm writing this review based on the excellent help received during the process of getting this house by Corey Whelan. (The brand manager of Connells in Peterborough) Initially when we saw the house and went to the office to show our interest however the house had already gone, but Corey ensured that he would find us a good home and make sure we were one of the first to hear it; he did fulfil his promises. Working with him has definitely been a pleasure, he has supported and given us a lot of information that has helped the process that much easier. He is such a good manager, that has exceeded our expectations, and should get a lot of praise for his hard work. The way he presented himself encouraged us to want the house more, it's hard to find good people like him and that's why I think his efforts need to be certainly commended. He is friendly and very enthusiastic. He deserves more than five (5) stars

As this was my first time renting a house out I don't think I could have chosen better than Corey and the Connells team!
Everything was made very easy for me. With very good communication from Corey. I had several questions about the process and other general questions that Corey dealt with easily and confidently.
It's now been a couple of months since I've had tenants in the property and I'm happy to say there have been no problems. The couple of maintenance issues that I've had with the property have been dealt with quickly by the Connells team!

This may appear to have been a 'lucky' type of scenario. However, I would like to say that Corey was presentable, knowledgeable and a likeable character. We have interacted with many agents over the years and believe we are good at judging people's characters. On this occasion I would say Corey is a credit to the company and from the moment we met him until after the tenants moved in, he has continued to be helpful. He has communicated with us when he has said he would and has kept us up to date with the progression of the tenancy.
I would most definitely use Connells again as we had a fantastic experience with both buying through them and subsequently letting through them.

I have never come across such an arrogant team of people.
They did not market the our property properly, I got calls from my tenant at the time complaining about persistent aggressive calls from this agent.
Their rates may not be the highest but you pay in lack of service and bad attitude from their sales team.
