When Chestertons took on our property we had been on the market for almost a year with two other agencies (one online and one highstreet) with no luck. Chestertons had the property for a little over 3 weeks and on their second viewing received and offer at asking price. We worked with both Henry and Bronte from the East Sheen office throughout the sale and found both of them to be super helpful, responsive but most importantly honest and up front. From a price point of view, while not the cheapest on the market, we felt that what they charged was very fair and worth the fee for the service we received.

We had a great experience with the whole team at Chestertons East Sheen. We had the most to do with Sarah who negotiated a great price for our sale and was extremely helpful and understanding throughout. The team all have a lot of local and industry knowledge and they use it to give good advice - but also listen to their clients’ concerns. We have already recommended them to others and wanted to thank them for making our sale as good as can be expected during a pandemic!

Henry Malone was our first point of contact, he was very helpful and knowledgeable. Then Sarah Heavens-Lang took over and she found us a buyer. Our flat was a complex sale, but Sarah was professional, loyal and empathetic. Even when she was furloughed we kept in touch. She was amazing. Amy Reynolds then took over the final part of the sale due to COVID-19, and despite all of the complications the flat was sold. We recently purchased a property through Henry at Chestertons and received a great professional service. As a buyer I would recommend Chestertons/Henry to sellers - out of many viewings with different agents they had the best approach. They âsoldâ the property without being pushy. Their after sales service and dedicated after sales progresser (Karly) was excellent and really helped on the run up to exchange and completion. We sold through different local agents, and they didn't come close.

I rented a property through Chestertons and struggled to get repairs and remedial work completed. On one occasion a workman, supervised by the agents, Stoke £200 from my daughter's bedroom. The agent blamed the landlord for the lack of work and in the end I gave notice and moved. I have now bought a property and my current landlord is selling through Chestertons. I have a catalogue of issues, the dog was left locked in the garden after a viewing with no water in blistering sunshine, the French windows into the garden were left open and today I discovered the side door onto the street was wide open. They have no sense of responsibility. I want to help my landlord, who has been brilliant, sell. However, it is clear I cannot allow unsupervised viewings.

They have great local knowledge and a fantastic base of prospective buyers, it was someone they contacted who bought the house in the end.
They arranged a good number of viewings, and I know they tried hard to be available when people wanted to see the house. I know from my own experience of looking at other houses in the area that this isn't always the case, especially the internet based agents.
I know there is a move to put more estate agents online, but for me, for such an important transaction, having a local agent, who I could call or pop in and see when I had a question or needed help, was fantastic.
If I ever have to sell my new house, I would definitely chose Chestertons again.
