As with other reviewers we agreed to a sliding scale dependant on the sale price achieved. This results in Cameron's having a real incentive to get the best possible offers for the property. They didn't disappoint.

I have been advised by Michelle that I could charge more rent if I wanted to but I have chosen to charge a bit below the market rate in acknowledgement of the very reliable tenants we have had for the past 7 years or so. I firmly believe it is more important to have reliable tenants than go for the maximum rent and Camerons have supported my efforts to ensure the tenants are kept happy.

What agent could do to change your mind?
I think the property was fairly priced, as it was cheap rent due to the poor condition of the property, however, there were a few occasions where for weeks where we had leaks coming through the ceiling from the bath and toilet in multiple rooms, and obviously the last 3 months with the mouse infestation where full rent definitely should not have been paid due to the length it took to sort out the issue. A house with no mice or leaks is not worth the same as a house with mice and leaks.

What agent could do to change your mind?
Could have scheduled my check-out for the DATE THAT WE HAD AGREED UPON, she could have answered my questions regarding prorated rent instead of ignoring them, she could have have my dishwasher replaced within TWO MONTHS of the owners asking*

I don't care about fees I care about my dishwasher, the agent keeping scheduled appointments, not wasting my time staying home for an entire day waiting for a dishwasher that is never installed, having my questions answered, and generally brains within the person that I have to interact with.

Tenant Fees

Overall Fees
£50 (inc. VAT), On Completion

• LATE PAYMENT OF RENT
Interest of 3% above the Bank of England Base Rate on any payment
of Rent which remains outstanding for fourteen days or more.
Interest will be payable after fourteen days until the date on which
the Rent is actually paid.

• EARLY TERMINATION (SURRENDER) OF THE AGREEMENT
Cost of compensating for any loss suffered by the Landlord or
reasonable costs incurred by the letting agent due to an early
termination (surrender) of the tenant agreement at the tenant’s

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.

Complaints Procedure

We are committed to providing a professional service to all our clients and customers. When something goes wrong, we need you to tell us about it. This will help us to improve our standards.

If you have a complaint, please put it in writing, including as much detail as possible. We have eight weeks to consider your complaint. If we have not resolved it within this time you may refer your complaint to The Property Ombudsman.

What will happen next?

We will send you a letter acknowledging receipt of your complaint within three working days of receiving it, enclosing a copy of this procedure.


We will then investigate your complaint. This will normally be dealt with by the Office Manager who will review your file and speak to the member of staff who dealt with you. A formal written outcome of our investigation will be sent to you within 15 working days of sending the acknowledgement letter.


If, at this stage, you are still not satisfied, you should contact us again and we will arrange for a separate review to take place by a senior member of staff.

We will write to you within 15 working days of receiving your request for a review, confirming our final viewpoint on the matter.

If you remain dissatisfied, you can then contact The Property Ombudsman to request an independent review:
