Last month I was in a difficult situation to find a property for rent with my budget. When I contact this Agency , were very prompt with the viewing and after that very flexible and helpful. I moved in within less than a week, which was great, thanks to Shamia Oakley-Rowe and Katie Grimwood, that they've done their best and they really made it. For future, definitely I will contact them for any other property which I will need to rent.

Richard from Acorn is Catford valued and managed the sale of my flat. I had three agents come in initially and Richards local knowledge and eagerness to sell my stood out by far from the others. The sales process was a rocky one due to slow acting solicitors however if it weren't for Richard driving the sale and communicating everyday with all parties it would have fallen through. I'm very please with the service I receive and would happpily use them again.

The agent's deserved the fees they were given on completion.They worked conscientiously to achieve a sale on my property.
Richard Allen the director made the initial contact to view the property. His approach and the Catford Team's approach was outstanding, professional and charismatic from commencing the instruction to the conclusion and completion of selling the property. There was nothing to small to assist the vendor with. There clarity and concise communication between vendor and agent throughout the process of selling the property. I would recommend Richard and the expertise of his Catford team with confidence. This is undoubtedly some of the many reasons why I believe as a consumer of their excellent customer service experience the Catford Acorn branch deserve a 5 * star rating .

I co-run a property development fund and am amazed by my recent experience.
Recently, they sold a flat on Wellmeadow road, hither green. Its a small two bed at an. attractive asking price (£180k). I know the area well & even in need of considerable work, it was worth at least £200k.
I and my colleagues phone Acorn a total of 8 times in an attempt to arrange a viewing. We were not called back once. We told them we were cash buyers & could therefore move very quickly. I personally made it very clear on about the 6th call that i thought the price was very attractive - i was hoping to spur them on a bit........
Excuses ranged from 'viewings are very difficult to arrange, due to unruly tennants' to 'we are very busy and our properties are selling like hotcakes' - the inference being that they were too busy to do their actual job. The only other time I've seen such bad service was when a competitor bidder, some years ago now, was giving backhanders to agents in return for low prices - something the agents achieved via 'bad marketing'.
I cant say for sure but i wouldn't be at all surprised if thats what was going on here.

Acorn are also the property managers of the building my rental unit is in-I've just moved in, so as yet unable to comment on the property management services, but as a letting agent, I couldn't be more pleased with the level of customer service provided.

Kathleen has been always able to assist, pleasent and polite and always returns calls. Based just on Kathleens performance (Oh and the girls who have taken my calls too!) I feel that they have come on leaps and bounds and I am more than happy to reccomend them as a letting agent. Great service!

Acorn seem to be the same as most agents. The quality of service is related to not only the competence of current staff and to the relationship between Landlord and Agent. I prefer to agree with any Agent to have a sole person responsible to act on my behalf and to act as liaison with myself. This system works well once both myself and the representative get to know each other. On the whole I prefer smaller Agencies as their livelihood is closer bound to working well with you and the tenants. Acorn do an okay job.
