Absolutely awful company. We were tenants for 3 years and are still fighting for our deposit months after moving out. It's taken months for them to obtain 1 qoute. The staff are totally incompetent of doing their jobs and the management don't seem to care that they have underskilled, staff who mess about with peoples lives and finances and are in great need of customer service training.
Avoid at all costs.
We have made a GDPR request and they can't even manage that even though it is a legal requirement.
Looking at other reviews I'm surprised they are still in business. Shocking!!
We will be seeking legal advice against this company and will do everything we can to let others know about this company.

Quite frankly the worst agent I have ever met -and he’s the “director”
He a misogynist made so many sexist “jokes” I don’t know how I kept my mouth shut.
Actively lied about the property which was in poor repair
Messed around for three weeks until I found out he was lying about broadband connection which is listed as 2nd on my priority list
He was actively disgusting about my appearance to my husband who is calm and collected-but even he told him where to go after this.
repairs from last summer not repaired, locks to the property broken and he actually said he wouldn’t get them replaced or mended “so don’t ask”.
If you want your time wasted, lies told told and some severe memory problems screwing up your plans (he forgot what he was he was saying and did the opposite on almost every action)
I will be taking him to his ombudsman and sue him and his reference checking company for illegal activity such as asking for my medical records. In return I advise Abhey to get his heart checked - they way his carotid bulges when stressed is not a good thing.
He paid so much attention to me and my history when my husband is the person it boarders on obsessive. That only stopped when I sent a strongly worded email followed by several high profile people giving me character references. -he didn’t reply to me -only begged my husband on the phone to not have me send any more so I has 4 more sent within an hour - talk to me directly you spineless little man with requests about me -my husband doesn’t tell me what to do and never would but when he told me what abhey said I had them sent them immediately- because we had just decided to not use the company anyway.

The worst experience I ever had with an agency!
We moved to a new flat one month ago, and it was given to us in terrible conditions. Everything was massively dirty, the oven full of grease, the gas hobs with bugs!!! We have been cleaning the house non stop for the past weeks, and we still haven't received any help at all. They looked at the pictures I sent and said that a cleaning had been done, blatantly lying to our faces.
Honestly, they take the money and then ignore your requests, take ages to reply and when they do they pretend not to understand what they need to do. Avoid.

Incompetent and dishonest - avoid at all cost.

I used an agent within the Sequence group to manage a property in Eastbourne. The service they provided was dreadful: they failed to carry out the most basic maintenance tasks such as installing smoke detectors and they didn’t even collect the correct amount of rent. Perhaps the worst thing was that they lost my tenant's deposit by transferring it to the wrong DPS account and then misled me when I questioned them about it. My tenant then took legal action against me because of the lost deposit. It cost me two years of stress and over £10,000 in settlement costs and legal fees. Despite admitting fault, Sequence have refused to fully reimburse me.

Please take my experience as a warning and avoid this firm.
