Our tenancy with Savills was marked by repeated failures in basic property management and tenant care.
We submitted numerous formal complaints over several months concerning persistent antisocial behaviour within the building supported by detailed logs, recordings, and formal communications. Despite this, Savills failed to take effective action or enforce the terms of the tenancy agreement.
Shortly after escalating the matter, we were issued a Section 21 notice. The timing raised serious concerns about whether this was a retaliatory response to our attempts to seek resolution.
Following our moveout, the situation deteriorated further. We were informed of a £300 deduction from our deposit, without any supporting evidence or itemisation. Only after initiating a formal dispute via the Tenancy Deposit Scheme was the full deposit agreed to be returned, suggesting the deduction was unfounded.
Communication throughout was inconsistent and poorly managed. The departure of our property manager was not communicated, and we were told that her emails were inaccessible. This resulted in repeated delays and the need to resubmit documents and chase responses to basic queries.
This was not an isolated issue, but a sustained pattern of negligence, poor communication, and procedural failure. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Savills as a professional or reliable property management service.

Extremely professional and personal service by Erick Dos Santos - Ealing Branch
I put the flat for sale in May and had viewings within a week. Erick Dos Santos in the Ealing Branch was assigned to the sale and he did a superb job. Got me a higher price than what it was marketed for. He kept me up to date with every viewing. When he found the buyer, he kept me informed at every step of the way until the sale went through. Brilliant service provided by him. I would highly recommend both Erick and Savills.

Dealt with Tom Reeve at Parsons Green, who came across as arrogant and inflexible. Provided the lowest valuation out of all agents for a six bed house and I got an offer 15% higher than the Savills valuation, the sale now having completed. This is how well this Director knows the local market. If you want to achieve the best price and be treated as a valued customer look elsewhere, there is plenty of choice.

I highly do not recommend taking this agency for your rental, because:
1/ Some of their workers are VERY EXTREMELY RUDE and take their sweetest time to reply to mails.
2/ They will give you the STUPIDEST excuses that they cannot reach the landlords.
3/ They will keep you without a precise response.
4/ They will not allow you to break your contract.

Initially presented by real estate agency Savills with a beautiful 1 bed and promised luxurious amnesties/services when I moved at Lillie Square at the end of 2017, however sadly the reality proved to be quite the opposite and my experience at the property has been disappointing to say the least.
I ended up paying thousands of pounds in bills received retrospectively due to negligence and false advertising on behalf of agency Savills. The building had not been registered with the council and the property hadn't even been allocated a tax band (although had been advertised as such) causing major delays with council tax bills, internet and electricity supply etc.
I had no heating last winter due to an error with the comfort cooling system both estate ADMIN nor SAVILLS were unable to solve for MONTHS. I have interestingly been issued bills worth £600 for this period I have had no heating in from Switch2, the dubious heat network provider the building uses.
I was told my Fiona Service Improvement Manager that these issues were to be expected to come with a new built.
When asking them for compensation for the issues I was refused it and given notice to vacate the property.
The only soothing thought is that I am due to leave the property soon, leaving all these problems and nightmare behind.

We asked them if they could put us in contact with someone from London cause we were planning to move there, they gave us a guys number called Don, he said he has nothing for our budget and if he has he is gonna contact us, we checked online there were loads of flats furnished for £400 a week, he just tried to get rid of us.Poor customer service, b******t people.

Savills is the most useless agency in London. Last year they rented me a house that apparently seemed decent, had just been painted! They accused us of the appearance of the same. A few months later we realized that there was a mouse at home, then there was an invasion of rats that walked under the floor, pierced the walls, furniture and floor. we did not have peace for a year and did not allow us to leave the house before the end of the contract. we been in touch with them thousands of time but with 0 reply. At the end of the contract, around £ 100 for dust was removed. They make you lose money, time and health. I do not understand how they are still open! This agency sucks, Stay away seriously!

I rented an expensive house from Savills in Tunbridge Wells. There were a number of maintenance issues that they ignored and simply refused to deal with.
We only heard from them when they wanted fees for renewal, and at the moment they are holding back a deposit of over nearly £4000 for a small fee they are claiming.
When we gave notice to move they did viewings at times we specifically asked them not too, including when our teenage daughter was there alone. The agent had zero charm and left a family member quite upset.
If you rent from them don't be in any doubt that they act only for the landlord and no matter what you pay in rent, you will not get anything like customer service. Any other business would quickly wither away if it treated the paying customers the way it treats its tenants.

Do not rent from this company. After renting a high-end property in St Johns Wood, this firm has been a nightmare to deal with. From the start, the condition of the property was sub-par. Despite repeated requests for cosmetic repairs and promises to rectify, these went ignored, then once we moved, they have attempted to claim for items which are clearly visible in the check-in report pictures and the ones we had been asking to be repaired since the start of our tenancy, and at excessive prices. They are not responsive and despite moving out 3 months ago, we still have not received our security deposit back. I would highly recommend you rent from a more reputable and professional firm. Do not trust your money to this agency. We will never rent from them again.

....prospective tenants. We rented a property for 6 months in Thorpe, Surrey through Savills. Both the landlord and Savills were incredibly controlling. We were deducted over £700 from our deposit due to what Savills classed as âdilapidationsâ - some of which included miniscule marks on the walls, stones being in a drain, scuffs on a door step. Although we went above and beyond to ensure the property was kept pristine, professionally cleaned and looked after, we were still treated with disrespect, various times throughout the short tenancy, including our privacy being invaded by the landlord. I would strongly advise anyone to not rent a property through Savills - please be very cautious if you choose to.

Chloe was thorough, communicative and professional from the start. She fully appreciated what we wanted to achieve and stayed in regular contact the entire time. She made sure everything moved along as swiftly as it could (and dealt with uncommunicative lawyers very efficiently). Our whole process from offer to completion took 10 weeks and we were very confident that Chloe could help us get it done. Would definitely use Savills again.

Savills in Lichfield have been unbelievably different.
We have recently taken on a property managed by themselves and every single concern or question we have raised with them has been answered, dealt with or responded to in a very professional (but friendly) and timely manner.
It's a full testament to how Savills value their tenants and they should be extremely proud that our contact is representing the company so well.
From move in to maintenance, we have felt 100% supported and safe in the hands of Savills and we feel very lucky to be dealing with them.
Thanks for all your help so far.
