My Gran & I have been supported by Morrisseys since they where Whittingtons. My Gran had a lovely 2 bed flat overlooking the Sea in Goring. In her later years she was not able to make full use of it so we let it very successfully and smoothly through Morrisseys. Last year we decided to sell the flat, we toyed with speaking with a few local agents but Matt & Sophia had always been professional, helpful and honest so we asked them to value it. They did a great job, we achieved the asking price and it went to a great family. I am really grateful to them for their help and would recommend them highly.

After initially leaving a glowing 5star review Morrisseys on AllAgents in September 2023, I now find myself extremely frustrated and disheartened to leave a completely different, 1star review. This company has completely failed us, and I cannot overstate how disappointed I am by their complete incompetence and disregard tenants.
We lived in our rented property 1 year and 5 months, and our initial experience with acquiring the property seemed promising, everything since has been nothing short of a nightmare, plagued with ongoing issues and a complete lack of support from Morrisseys.
We initially reported issues with damp and mould within 7 days of moving in. 1 year and 5 months later, and nothing has changed. We were dismissed and ignored with advice to “heat and ventilate the property” - which we did to the point of exhaustion, however they failed to acknowledge that the property itself had little to no insulation, and inadequate heating provisions. It became increasingly apparent that Morrisseys, particularly Sophia, were more interested in siding with the landlord than addressing the genuine health and safety concerns we raised.
When we voiced our concerns about the impact this had on our health and the significant personal items we had to throw away due to mould damage, we were met with cold, dismissive, and frankly rude responses from Sophia. Her tone was condescending and unsympathetic, which only added to our difficulties.
Ultimately, we’re relieved to be out of the property, and after this experience, we would never, under any circumstances, recommend Morrisseys to anyone looking to rent. The level of care, professionalism, and support was severely lacking throughout our tenancy. Avoid.

Matt was really helpful from the outset, with sound advice which meant my house was sold for the right price with a quick timeframe. The communication process was easy and straight forward and I wouldnbt hesitate to recommend Morrisseys to anyone who just wants to get a good relaible result.

We have been really impressed by everyone in the team at Morrisseys. We’d spent about 2 months looking for somewhere to rent in the area, either not hearing back or being let down by other agents before we found Morrisseys.
Matt took us to the initial viewings and was friendly and helpful when showing us round the properties, and taking our applications to the landlords. Then when we applied for a flat, Liza helped us with any queries we had with the next steps and the referencing process, helping to speed it along for us. Sophia then helped us with the final signing of the contract and getting the keys.
Every member of the team we have dealt with has been polite, responsive and really helpful throughout every step of the process, and I feel confident renting through them that everything will be taken care of

As a buyer, I found their customer care was completely loaded towards the seller- very unhappy with them. They demonstrated no duty of care towards me as a buyer.They enabled a rogue landlord selling a very poorly maintained house to not provide me with gas and electricity safety certificates or a signed off loft conversion. They allowed the seller to use delay tactics until I had no choice but to proceed without these. I had to negotiate money reduction with very little support from them. Early on they reneged on my offer on this property and though accepted, then gave it to someone else without effectively communicating my choices. I had to fight every step of the way. Prior to this Matt let me down on another property, again only working in the interests of the buyer and not keeping me informed and giving me options.
