I only like to leave positive reviews, but I'm afraid the service I've received over the past 6 years from Cubitt and West has been lacking. The key failing is lack of communication. I paid for my property to be fully managed and yet had to keep chasing the lettings department to see if maintenance jobs had been rectified. If they supplied someone to do a job it was vastly overpriced and they received 20% of the bill. If I found a reliable person locally to do jobs they struggled to access the property with the agents informing them they would liaise with the tenants and then never getting back to them. I've ended up having to chase both parties and do the liaising myself. I've just sold the house but due to poor service from the lettings department marketed the property through another agent. I did raise my concerns with emails to the manager of the lettings department on more than one occasion but they never had the decency to respond. I won't be using Cubitt and West again and sadly I cannot recommend them.
