Terrible Letting agents. Incompetent does not even come close to describing them. when paid by Landlord to send a gardener to tidy garden, they sent an unprofessional who ruined it. They failed to do an inventory or check in inspection and instead sent one for previous tenant dated back in 2010 and expected us to sign that. They lied about being a member of the NAEA both in verbally and in writing on their website and paperwork. When told they would be reported to the Property Ombudsman, the manager took it upon himself to phone us up being abusive and threatening. They won't take responsibility for their mistakes, the manager outright refuses to pay any compensation and acts as though he believes he is above the law. He avoids trying to put anything in writing but when he does he makes a complete fool of himself. When asked for a date and time in writing to come to the property to collect the keys, his response was "Thanks for the invite but I'll be washing my hair" I would not recommend this company to anybody. avoid at all costs. They will break the Law and Harass you and Lie to you and make you out to be the Lier's to cover there own backs. They will make your life's Hell like they did to us and Con you out of Money. They are a Big Joke just be Careful STAY AWAY there are better Letting Agents out there.
What agent could do to change your mind?
They could have been Honest and told the Truth and Not lied and made are Life\'s Hell for 8 Months it\'s a joke that they think they can get away with doing this to Good People.

Medlock don't do proper inspections and don't give energy efficiency certificate at all never received electrical certificate 2021, they don't do repairs properly and not at all in many cases, they just ignore you worst letting agency I've ever dealt with lots of complaints, ... Read Full Review

As part of their letting service, Medlock are supposed to carry out tenant checks before letting your property out. In my case, the tenant gave employer info for a company that actually went out of business/shut down two years before the tenancy even started but because Medlock hadn't carried out... Nov 5, 2014I have lived next door to a property managed by medlock estate for 11yrs. my advice to anybody wanting to use them to manage their property DONT DO IT. Every six month or so we get a new tenant ...
