Krissi has been really helpful in the whole move. Answering questions and walking me through the process. They have been very up front re all the fees which is nice to see as some Estate agents often add fees at later stages. Frankie showed me round the flat and was really helpful in pointing out how the flat could look.

Both staff members have been extreamly helpful in the process of finding a rental agreement for the property, even though the estate agents have not been managing the property directly they have gone abouve and beyond to be as helpful as possible though the process.

BEWARE. Jigsaw are the sort of letting agents you hope you don't end up with, and are simply keen to extract as much money from tenants throughout the process as seems humanly possible. Not only were the initial moving in fees particularly high (c. £400 p/p if my memory serves me correctly), they then proceeded to ask for £35 to supply a proforma reference for our next landlord, and then charged £280 in cleaning fees despite the property being filthy on arrival and thoroughly cleaned when we left. We had photographic proof of both before and after, and the landlord agreement that they should not charge the fee, but they still refused to retract the charge. They also changed £180 for a 'check out' fee - I have no idea what that might be for or why it's so much. While we could have gone through the ADR process my housemate did not want to deal with the stress and like so many people we gave up getting the money back.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
Complaints Procedure
Should you have any problems with Jigsaws' service which you are unable to resolve with the member of staff dealing with your application you should write to the branch/department manager. This complaint will be acknowledged within five working days of receipt and an investigation undertaken. A formal written statement expressing Jigsaws' final view will be sent to you within 20 working days and will include the resolution proposed. This letter will confirm that you are entitled, if dissatisfied, to refer the matter to The Property Ombudsman (TPO) within six months for a review. For the avoidance of doubt, TPO will only review complaints made by consumers.
