My partner and I booked a viewing through CJ Hole for a property approximately 13 miles from my current home address. When we called to confirm the booking a couple of days prior, we were told that it had the go ahead, but unfortunately, thery had us booked in for a completely different address and time. We reconfirmed the address and time we wanted. Approximately 15 minutes before our viewing, we had a call from a gentlemen asking where we were as we were late! We advised we were on the away, but that we were not indeed late, but ahead of time. Upon arrival at the address, there was no one to great us. We rang the same gentlemen to ask his whereabouts, he advised he was in the property and would be right out. After 5 minutes we rang back only to be told that he was at the address they had incorectly booked the first time around. What sort of Property Sales/Letting Agency cannot even book a viewing correctly, especially in this time of uncertainty. It feels as though they aren't really interested in selling houses at the moment. I requested that the gentleman at the wrong address ask his manager to call us back as we wished to find out why there had been such mess up, and to ask that he reimburse us for the petrol that we had lost on our pointless journey. No phone call came, so I rang the branch (southville) to be told the manger was in branch, but on another call and he would call me back. No sooner had this call ended, The gentleman on the road called to advise me his manager was out of brancg, and was unable to call me back as requested, as he had been advised by a branch secretary! This did not seem to reflect on what I had been advised only a moment previously, and I can only put down to a bare faced lie. Is thi9s the way all prospective customers are treated? Low and behold, moments later the brach manager, Michael Johnson, did call me back. I can only descibe this conversation and his tone and manner as insulting at best! He was disrespectful, condesending, rude, patronising and petulent to say the least. When I requested he log an official complaint on my behalf due to the total lack of customer service and satisfaction, he advised me this can only be done in writing. I am a Compliance Officer for an Insurance Broker, and I know this to be infactual and incorrect. I asked if they were regulated byt the FSA, he advised me they were regulated by the Financial Ombudsman Service. This again is incorrect. Mr Johnsons reply was to tell me to do my homework, and hung up! THis sort of behaviour from a reputable company such as CJ Hole, and its branch manager is outrageous, and I will have no future dealings with them whatsoever. I would like this review to act as my official complaint and fully expect a responce to my complaint within 8 weeks of todays date, 17th May 2012. Yours, regreatably, Mr J Ross.

This is possibly the worst estate agents I've ever come across, namely Duncan Fleming, who lies to you and landlord alike.
I've been waiting for the whole summer to get some basic maintenance done on the house, as well as a leak from the only toilet in the house where they've dragged their heels and eventually the kitchen ceiling gave way and it went over my partner, luckily no injuries yet they still took 2 months to get it fixed.
We're still waiting for them to complete works and its been a month since anyone has been to the property. Both landlords and tenants should avoid these guys like the plague if you dont want to be messed around. Duncan Fleming shouldn't even be allowed to operate.

I would like to be able to say something good about C Hole but I can't. On trying to purchase a flat through them, we were constantly chasing for information, told different things each time and eventually had to cancel the sale because the property didn't have allocated parking as advertised. We found out one week before the completion date. The worst thing is that despite telling us they would not allow the property to be sold again with parking considering this information from the seller, they put it back on the market with 'communal parking' straight away. It's as if they were trying to trick us in to buying it and it seems they did the same to the next buyer straight after. In a property to be purchased, 'communal parking' does not exist. You either legally own the space or you don't. When I talked to the Agent and Manager to clarify the situation, both were rude, unhelpful and didn't care about the stress caused, clearly just thinking about how they can trick the next person in to buying it.

Constant lies it's actually unbelievable. * was constantly chasing us for money when paid straight away. 1st week in the house - it was a mess when moved in on day 1. Previous tenants stuff was still there, rubbish bin in main bedroom, dust everywhere, kitchen was disgusting, cupboards not clean, broken drainage pipe, we could not do the washing up, no washing machine set up when we were promised it and promised a lot of things and NOTHING was done. Oven created a thick smoke when we turned it on. My partner twisted his angle on first week as patio in garden are un even. The list goes on. All of the above happened from the first week. Oh and mould was taken off. Also rotten smell under the stairs which we couldn't figure out how to get rid off. There's was Broken window in bathroom fraught comitat the time freezing cold in January and took us a while to get it fixed. Oh and the boiler is old. Landlord won't get a new one so every time we turned it on it sounded like an aeroplane was going to land on us.

Is it possible to give 0 stars? Quite possibly the worst agency I have ever dealt with. The staff don't have a clue about the properties they manage, if you have a question they direct the question you ask them back to you!! If you go in to inform them about a problem, the standard response is I'll leave a message for my colleague who will get back to you. Who is this colleague and why is he/she never in the office and why don't they ever get back to you!!??They are very prompt in getting fees off you but there is no communication after that, you have to keep chasing them 2-3 times a day to get something sorted. Seems like the only thing they are trained in is making excuses and collecting money.

I recently sold an apartment from a Victorian conversion that I had developed.
From the moment that I engaged James and Sam to come and give their knowledge, professionalism and advice, all dealings and communication was excellent. The price was discussed and agreed. Orlando and Hannah were great at promoting my sale and showing clients my apartment, sometimes at very short notice. The property was featured on the website, which helped to generate some interest, hence a sale was soon reached. From this point, the after sales team, namely Ollie and Adam were very efficient and wonderful communicators. A very special thanks to Ollie for going the extra mile and mediating very well. I was in safe hands with this wonderful team. I would highly recommend them and will be going back to them in the future. Thanks James and Sam. You and your team are very special.
