Since the first property I viewed with Bruno from Castles, I was impressed by his friendly manner, he really genuinely looked out for me and my partner during the process of making our first offer. The first property we had offer accepted on was unfortunately in a contract race, and Bruno was completely upfront about all this and able to advise us how to manage this. We did lose the the race but thankfully didn't lose to much money thanks to Bruno's advice. Following this Castles recommended another property for us and were able to arrange a viewing quickly. The seller thankfully accepted the same day and took off the market! 4 months later we are now in property and loving it! Both Bruno and George were very helpful during the sale process, and were always quick to do what they could when we encountered hold ups. Another great thing about dealing with castles was getting to know the agents so that I didn't have to explain same story each time I called. That is really excellent personal customer service! Have recommended Castles to other friends looking to buy properties.

Very disappointing experience indeed. Agency obviously has very low moral and ethical values if they think that direct discrimination is the way to treat their customers.
I experienced direct discrimination on the grounds of sex and marriage/civil partnership; and when a complain was raised, the top management of the company just brushed it off as some sort of annoyance.
Failure to address properly such serious complaints points at this agents' low professionalism and poor customer service. Avoid at all cost!

We instructed castles estate agents after trying an online estate agent previously. The experience was a complete revelation as to why paying for a proper estate is money well spent. The valuation was spot on, the speed at which they found a buyer was amazing, to say the least. Panos and the team were brilliant in chasing the solicitors, the buyers and making sure everything was running on schedule. We found Castles to be professional prompt and effective. We dealt initially with Steve Hatch who valued the property and arranged the marketing of the property . However a second viewing session, where this was made clear, was managed well and again led to a firm offer within 6 days. This firm offer led to a sale for a higher figure than originally offered, following advice from the agents. The sale went through smoothly.

One of their agents, George Donohoe, handled the sale from the first meeting at our flat through to completion. He arranged the marketing of the property very quickly and sold it within a few days of it being on the market. George handled the numerous offers we received and helped us to secure the right buyer. He continued to answer our questions through the sale and liaised effectively with the buyer and their solicitor. George was extremely helpful and courteous and we would recommend him and Castles to any prospective seller.

We found the flat through Rightmove. Bruno responded immediately to the initial on line enquiry and despite some restrictions in the availability of the flat to view because of the work commitments of the vendor he persevered, we viewed and put in an offer. Bruno followed this up promptly and effectively. The sale proved to be more complicated than we'd envisaged but Bruno proved as persevering and helpful throughout as he had been initially. He liaised effectively with everyone concerned and facilitated the sale. Without his help we're sure our sale would not have gone through. We appreciated Bruno' s consistency, integrity and drive. We learnt that he would keep his promises and deal with us openly. Furthermore we knew that in the background Panos was monitoring the paperwork and ensuring that everything was in order. Fair to say that Castles more than delivered for us.

Really easy to deal with Castles; in fact when Steve came to do the initial Market Appraisal and marketing chat I didn't bother getting another quote, I knew they would good to their word, reputable and honest with both the seller and buyer. Russell ran the viewings, again highly knowledgeable and knowing the area and market, but not at all pushy - he was interested in selling for me, but also finding the right buyer, and when one fell through he was right back on the case. Panos deals with the solicitors in the back room and keeps everyone on track - all-in-all they did everything to make it as easy as possible.

The sale of our property in London was made considerably more complicated by the fact that we had already emigrated to Switzerland! Russell and Panos were however excellent in organising the clearance of the property despite our absence. They achieved the asking price in a very short space of time and were excellent at keeping us informed of progress during the viewing and then the entire selling process. Without their excellent professionalism and attention to detail our lives would have been considerably more difficult!
