The agents were generally efficient in getting back to me which I appreciated.
I did not like being pressurised into a 12 month contract- this happened to me last time I rented my flat with currell as well.
I also feel pressurised to enter into a new contract with currell at the end of the 6 month period when there is no need as the contract can simply continue as an AST without the tenants having to pay another fee.
I didn't feel I got any support or guidance in ascertaining the likelihood that the tenants were reliable and didn't feel that currell were on my side at all in that regard (if you didn't charge all your commission up front your position would no doubt be different).
The first months rent and deposit were paid into an account that you had on file from 2010 and I wasn't told it had been paid at all until I chased it. This meant I missed out on 3 weeks interest by the time I could access that account.
Finally I was never told when the deposit was received and information like this is needed for deposit protection purposes.
I should also say the photos and description were very good.
Overall, given what you charge and the fact that there are DIY ways to rent a property now, the service was not good enough for me to use currell again.

We paid more than 600 pounds in signing the contract and paying the deposit, but we have certainly gotten zero value from that. I have had much more value and service from private landlords in London which you pay no such fee for.

No fees information available
Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
