I requested the return of our Tenant's deposit as one Tenant was moving, the other was staying and we were moving to use another letting agent. My first letter to Austin Wyatt was lost, a follow up email was not acted on and over a period of five weeks I was having to contact them to ascertain when the deposit would be received. I was then told it would be transferred by BACS. It did not appear on the date that I was given nor was the deposit received on the second date I was given. It was then received but not sent to the account that had been given in my original letter. My telephone calls were not returned in a timely fashion and the office is clearly disorganised and unhelpful.

I have used most of the other agents, the overall fees for all of them work out the same when you total them up at the end, so there is not much in it

« Henryparks » is clearly an Austin Wyatt employee, given his/her reference to the previous company name. NO - Austin Wyatt did not « sort out WSB's mess » they simply lost their loyal and KNOWLEDGABLE staff, racked up their fees, and provided the worst customer service ever. ...

I completely agree with this, Luke. As a current tenant (unfortunately) they have zero respect and a complete disregard for us. We had the EXACT same problem with a rental payment that Countrywide had lost, again with no apology once it was mysteriously 'found'. In fact, they blamed it on me not using the correct reference. A & W never gave us a reference. The communication in their small office is beyond appalling and all of the staff that we've spoken to are curt and arrogant. They only care ...
