I used Chancellors to market my buy to let property for sale and whilst also managing it on my behalf as they assured me this would be more efficient as gaining access arranging viewings would be easier. They oversold and under delivered on all accounts, my property was marketed for months without any real success, the only advice was to drop the price...the exact same size property (and similar condition) was marketed by my friend in the same block and sold at a much higher price without using an agent. The property management is subpar, they sent a unqualified plumber to fix a leak, and sent me an invoice for the change of shower head and a recommendation to send a plumber as the fix couldn't be fixed, only when I disputed the invoice did they tell me their contractor was unqualified. I have issues most months with the property management service, I deal with my tenant directly and she has asked me if there was any way I could remove them from the chain as they are don't do anything for either the tenant or me. My advice would be to avoid and find a reputable local agent.
