Douglas Allen successfully sold our flat, but the whole set-up was very underwhelming. They got a great deal of people through the door, but took very little interest in the specifics of the property (none were detailed on the web/info sheet). In conversation with prospective buyers we found out that some information (regarding the lease and neighbours) that was being given was entirely inaccurate.
Once we had an offer, it felt like all interest was lost, and we struggled when we needed their help to arrange subsequent viewings, and pass on information (phone-calls and emails not returned etc). Eventually we gave up and communicated directly with the buyer, and resolved everything through them direct.
Certain members of staff were incredibly helpful; Dmitri and Lucy stand out, but generally, it feels very much like we sold our house despite the lack of interest from Douglas Allen
