Manning Stainton were recommended to me by my mum who had previously had her house on the market with them.
When initially valuing my house, Lesley gave me honest feedback about how I could make my house more appealing to buyers. I found it useful to have an outsiders perspective especially from somebody so knowledgeable. We settled on an initial asking price and discussed pricing strategy and my house was put on the market the following week and was put on the manning stainton and rightmove website.
Andrea was my main contact once my house was on the market and I found her to be very friendly and knowledgeable. I got viewers almost immediately and Andrea was very good at chasing them up for feedback and passing it on to me. She was very honest when giving me viewers feedback which meant I could make changes where necessary.
The online property tracker which manning stainton provide was also a useful tool as it meant I could check how many times my property had been viewed online and how many people had been sent details about my house.
When I received an offer, Andrea successfully negotiated with the offerer and we got to a price that was suitable for us both.
After I had accepted the offer Andrea regularly kept in touch with both me, the buyers and my solicitor to ensure that everything went through as quickly as possible. There were some legal issues which held up the sale of my house but Andrea helped in anyway she could and stayed positive throughout which really helped me to stay calm.
Andrea and the Manning Stainton team were a pleasure to deal with. I never had to chase them for anything and they were always positive and friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who are looking to sell their house. Their service is second to none.
