On signing a tenancy agreement with Charltons they were extremely helpful and made a world of promises. They promised to have professional cleaners in before we moved in and this did not happen, this was just the start of a long list of problems that occurred whilst we were with Charltons.
We had outstanding items that were not fixed for the period of the tenancy agreement. Anything we asked to be fixed was always an effort and they came up with a poor excuse and when they did finally send their handymen out they seemed to make the reported problem worse not better.
On there website they state "Charltons continue to deliver by providing a very personal level of service". There are also various quotes on their website from clients claiming that "Charltons have never let us down, they always deliver".
Charltons did not demonstrate this level of customer service to us.
Their customer service skills are really poor and as paying customers we shouldn't have been made to feel that we harassed them and that we were in the wrong. It always felt really uncomfortable when we had to approach them and at times they really upset us and made it feel awkward.
Do not rent with Charltons! Unless your looking for a hard life!
