Very immoral landlord on their books. Hive estate agents made it clear, throughout my ordeal, that they had nothing to do with my landlord and ONLY dealt with viewings - NOT the tenancy.
However my complaint stands, Hive estate put me in a property that was unfit when I moved in, the move in process was stressful and was the start of a 14 month ordeal with my landlord.
They claim they had no idea what was going on. However I alerted the team on the 1st of March and was told to mind my own business and it was nothing to do with them.
Every single new estate agent was so supportive of my situation (I'm traumatised and frightened).
Having posted a review. Hive contacted me and asked me to take it down because it wasn't their fault.
Who you associate with says everything and you are still advertising his properties.

Avoid at all costs!
1. Very slow in responding to maintenance issues
2. They ALWAYS have hidden costs, even after you leave the property
3. Furniture and kitchen appliances are not as good as advertised

Poor management and communications. Poor money management and an unregistered bank account making it harder to pay as banks will block the payment.
We have been having some maintenance issues which have been unresolved for up to a few months despite us going through the correct process to let them know and following up

Did not ensure property was clean and ready - matresses and carpets were dirty and needed to be replaced (it took weeks for Hive to sort new ones) and there was a very nasty surprise in the bathroom extractor fan: two dead birds that were sealed in. The flies were a clue there was something amiss. Again, it took them weeks to investigate and sort.
There's still a problem with damp: walls are wet, clothes are going mouldy that they've yet to deal with properly. Really shocking.

Terrible experience, Hive neglected to sort out many issues with any urgency, including hob not working and old mattresses. Gave us the keys late at night and we had to clean the house ourselves at large cost

What is the point in hiring an agent to manage a property if they do not deal with issues in any meaningful or urgent way? The mismanagement of our property severely affected myself and my flat mates, impacting our physical and mental health.We received a property which was unclean and unsanitary, when we raised this they did not try to help until a month later, leaving us in a difficult situation in the meantime. The landlord was more receptive, do not waste your time or money on this agency which is incompetent and uncaring.

I used hive estates to sell my property from the first meeting with agent Rachel I was put at ease by her professional and honest attitude regarding the value etc .... within the first week I had 7 viewings and lots more scheduled Rachel took care of everything I gave her the keys to the property and she gave me her mobile number to keep me up to speed with all the viewings and offers placed etc ... True to her word the offers came in and a sale was quickly negotiated a very professional service indeed I would highly recommend Hive Estates but more so the agent Rachel who went above and beyond in her work and always gave 100% nothing was too much trouble and she always took the time to reply to me regardless of it being a weekend or after hours now that’s something you don’t see very often these days she was always there on hand to help throughout the whole process I would highly recommend Hive Estates to anyone who’s looking for a no hassle honest five star service in the property market.
