the wavered the agency fees but i have a feeling they were trying to get the £400 which was supposed to be non refundable deposit. they did say they were going to refund me, however, i dont know whether that was because they saw i had some clout behind me with property developers and i knew what i was talking about or if they genuinely were struggling with the application

I have been renting a flat from Brand Vaughan for a long time.
Unfortunately, after many years of neglect by my landlord, the flat is now in an extremely poor condition.
The problems are serious and include rotten windows, penetrating damp, and the associated humidity, condensation and mould. In legal terms, my landlord has been in breach of the tenancy agreement for an unacceptable amount of time.
Despite the extremely poor condition of the flat, and despite my landlord's unacceptable/unlawful behaviour, Brand Vaughan (on behalf of my landlord) asked me to pay more rent.
Then, after I referred two rent increase notices to the relevant tribunal, and the tribunal decided that the rent could not be increased, Brand Vaughan (on behalf of my landlord) asked me to leave the flat.
Brand Vaughan is not innocent in this situation.
First, Brand Vaughan has condoned my landlord's unacceptable/unlawful behaviour.
Second, no-fault/revenge evictions are completely unacceptable.
Third, Brand Vaughan's behaviour, as set out above, is morally repugnant.
