My student son was in a Leaders run property last year. On arrival at the property it was found to be filthy dirty despite Leaders saying the house had been professionally cleaned. Untrue. Also, my sons bed had cardboard supporting the mattress and personal items had been left in the drawer from the previous tenants. On one occasion he locked his key in his room! He fully expected to be charged a fee to gain access but property management said they didn't have a another key for the door. This was untrue as the previous week their team had entered the property to retrieve some broken/unsafe heaters from the students rooms (students had been advised of visit, and it was them that had identified the unsafe heaters). Also be aware that the inspection officers camera has a problem! Some of the images on the final leaving report were not true to colour resulting in an inaccurate description of a carpeted area and deduction of deposit. These are just a few examples but basically Leaders are very good at talking the talk but not very good at actually delivering. Communication is weak and they are disorganised and unhelpful. I most definitely (as a parent) would not recommend them.

VERY BAD - Ridiculous that you charged a £30 fee for each tenant for a reference when the landlord wanted to move back in. it was not our choice to leave and you didn't give us any other option than to go with another agent as our experience with your branch has been agonising and when we requested to view your properties no one responded or called to arrange. To argue that we need to pay for a cleaning fee off our deposit when the house was discracefuly left to us when we moved in. With faeces in the toilet and mould in the kitchen - electrical wires hanging in the bedroom not to forget the ceiling light fittings that had burnt and disintegrated !!
