I never leave bad reviews but I would advise against using this agency. This agency is very pushy when you first sign your flat however generally unresponsive when you need repairs,
When we looked at the flat they were very pushy and said we had to sign the flat that day and that the flat was ready to move in. While the flat is beautiful it was not ready to be moved into. Secondly, I had to spend my first 72 hours in flat without keys as the estate agent said they needed to make copies.
However when I asked the estate agent to access the flat for maintenance they said they could not do the repairs as they did not have any keys. We have been living and the flat a month now and there are lights that still need to be installed. I came home after Christmas and found a toilet over flowing with sewage. I tried to ring the emergency line however someone from the estate agency had forgotten to divert the calls to emergency line so I had to pay for the repairs myself.
Secondly, before the move in date there were contractors in the property. Cluttons had promise the property was ready to move in however we found that the contractors had left behind empty wrappers containing half eaten food. They also left behind filler and other rubbish such as broken tools. I had asked the estate agent to remove all this before the move in date but instead of removing the rubbish they just stuffed it behind the water tank and I think they hoped I wouldn't find it.
Recently we changed electricity providers. The morning we planned on doing this we rang our property manager and asked if there was anything we needed to do in advance. For example, would we need to access the electricity meter. She said no. I came back from work and we had no electricity or heating as we needed access to the electricity meter to reset it, Cluttons had left the meter locked. I rang the cluttons emergency line to ask if they could unlock the meter, however they said they did not have a key and I would just have to wait until the morning for electricity. All the food in our fridge went off. I emailed to ask if I could be reimbursed for the costs, and I still have not heard back.
