My overall experience with Peter James has been awful. The agent misled us and the landlady was even worse. The agent Dean, was only interested in us making an offer the minute we made an offer all communication went downhill.
We were told the landlady had agreed to us having a pet as that’s the offer we put forward, after a few months of us moving into the property the landlady drove by and spied on the house where she saw the cat and said she never agreed to it?? Despite us having email correspondence from the agent saying she did.
There was an issue with the waste pipe which never got resolved and the landlady entered my property when she was not meant to and I had been reassured she wouldn’t go in. I had footage of her entering my property, leaving and entering again. She lied to say she only let the contractor in.
Property management on the other hand were great, especially Louise Flynn. She was very helpful and responded quickly and tried to resolve all issues in a timely manner. She was also very understanding towards us having a pet and understood there was no way we would get rid of her. 5 stars for Louise.

Comment on agent fees
My property management fee with Peter James was 12.5% plus VAT. The new estate agent who is managing my property charges 5% plus VAT. So not only was the service I received unbelievably poor, but it was also expensive in comparison to other estate agents. (note: the estate agent I transferred to is reputable and local to southeast London too).
