For the last 20 months I have used Reed Rains Full Property Management Service to let my property. After an initial quarterly inspection on 24th Feb 2011, I received nothing from then, so, on 5th June 2012 I contacted the branch to ask them to organise an inspection. After a number of chasing emails I was informed on 18th June that Reed Rains had contacted the tenant but unfortunately she was in hospital. Ultimately a visit was scheduled for 10th Aug.
At this stage I have yet to receive confirmation that the visit took place but, on the assumption that it did,
it has taken Reed Rains 15 months to undertake an inspection that should, according to the agreement, happen every quarter and this only after 17 emails from myself. As it stands I have paid £2,600 for one inspection visit.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Firstly, complete re-embursment of fees from the first missed inspection.
Secondly, simply follow the details of their own contract
