Terrible letting agency, they will lie, mislead you and waste your time. Two properties we saw with them, the first was a property we saw and put an application in for, only for it to be denied because the landlord did not wish to let to students. Brand Vaughan knew we were students when we requested the viewing. They chose to set up a viewing for us regardless without letting us know the landlord does not wish to let to students, perhaps to create a sense of urgency for the 5 other groups who came to the viewing in the exact same time slot. Wasting our time and using us as props.
The next property was one we viewed on a Saturday. After we made our application, we found out the property was already agreed to someone else on the Friday. Brand Vaughan let us waste our time on a viewing for a property that was already let agreed without letting us know this was the case. This is so they could have more tenants to fall back on should the tenants whose application they accepted fall through. Again, time wasters.
Very dishonest company, they will happily waste your time sending you to group viewings as a prop for the other potential tenants, or use you as a backup should another agreed upon deal fall through, all without letting you know that is the case. Will not be dealing with them again. Plenty of other letting agents in Brighton who don't use these deceitful business tactics.

Brand Vaughan is an awful letting agency.
I have been renting a flat from Brand Vaughan for a long time.
Unfortunately, after many years of neglect by my landlord, the flat is now in an extremely poor condition.

the wavered the agency fees but i have a feeling they were trying to get the £400 which was supposed to be non refundable deposit. they did say they were going to refund me, however, i dont know whether that was because they saw i had some clout behind me with property developers and i knew what i was talking about or if they genuinely were struggling with the application
