It is the worst customer experience I've ever had. I don't think they know what the word customer service means. They are all out to make as much money as possible for THEMSELVES at the expense of the prospective seller and buyer. I am so glad the buyer withdrew, which gave me an opportunity to sell through someone else.

THIS COMPANY ARE ARROGANT NAIVE NEWBIES IN Comparison TO HOW Other Internet ESTATE AGENTS OPERATE.
THEY RELY SOLELY ON STATISTICS, AND GUESSWORK, IN THE HOPE THAT EVERY BUYER and SELLER ARE GULLIBLE 2.4 NIMBYS.
THERE IS NO USER FRIENDLY WEBSITE FOR BOOKING VIEWINGS, THEY DON'T EMPLOY LOCAL AGENTS, DON'T DO THEIR HOMEWORK, AND TRYING TO CONTACT THEM BY PHONE IS AN ABSOLUTE JOKE, THEIR SALES TEAM, CAN'T ANSWER BASIC QUESTIONS, CAN'T ARRANGE VIEWINGS. SO WHAT ARE EMPLOYED TO DO? THE CLUE IS IN THE WORD- 'SALES'. THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE SELLING PROPERTY TO THEIR CUSTOMERS .
I DON'T THINK PURPLE BRICKS, YOU MOVE , EWE MOVE ,STRIKE OR YOPA HAVE ANYTHING TO WORRY ABOUT.
IF YOU WANT TO FEEL FRUSTRATED , DISILLUSION ED , AND TEAR YOUR HAIR OUT, BY ALL MEANS TRY THEM.
MY Experience IS BASED ON THEIR VERY INACCURATE NOT FACT CHECKED ADVERTS ON THE PROPERTY SITES.
ADVERTISING A PROPERTY WE WENT TO SEE THAT THEY SAID 'HAD A DRIVE' , (I RANG UP AND CHECKED EVENTUALLY ,AFTER SEVERAL HOURS ATTEMPTING TO GET AN ANSWER TO A VERY Basic QUESTION ) WITH ONE OF THEIR TEAM, WHO ASSUMED IT WAS A PRIVATE DRIVE. WASTED MY TIME, ONLY TO DISCOVER A LARGE DOG SAT IN IT, AND THE UNSAVOURY CHARACTER COMING OUT TO THE VIEWER , GIVING CHAPTER AND VERSE OVER THE 'SHARED FACILITY'.
SOLD CO.UK SHOULD OF STATED THIS ! AFTER FACT CHECKING AND Researching EVERY SINGLE PROPERTY THEY MARKET . WHICH THEY DON'T.
They don't accept criticism, but if they are to survive in such a feisty marketplace. They need to up their game, spend less money on third parties, employ more local agents, and have a choose and book system on their website.

Overall, my experience using SOLD was generally very positive. Initial negotiation and onboarding in particular was very smooth. They also honoured an offer that drew me to them initially. All people I interacted with were always courteous, friendly and respectful. They kept their promise of finding a buyer within 30 days, although the agreed price that I signed up with them on was not a price they were able to secure - this is the reason for knocking off a star.

I recently tried to sell my house using We Buy Any House . Com During that process I was informed that they would only be able to offer up to 80% of the market value which was not going to be enough for me and then THEY suggested I try their sister company Sold.Co.Uk what a mistake that was. I was contacted by Haydn the Customer Care Manager who said the following Hi Chris, As we discussed just now, I can confirm that we can market *************** for offers in excess of £500,000. We have reached this figure by conducting extensive research into your property, the local market and cross-referencing this against our database of pre-qualified buyers. This means that we will find you a buyer that will achieve you a sale of £500,000 within 30 days. Which although I was taking a £59,950 drop on my existing price sounded like he could do what he promised through his network of investors. So we agreed and put our house on the market with Sold. During the first 30 days we received two viewings one of which lead to an offer of £485000 well below the offers in excess of price which Haydn had suggested he could achieve. After about 3 weeks we became suspicious as none of our emails were being responded to we tried calling, emailing. We even tried calling as potential buyers but still had no calls or emails returned. They were using a telephone answering service!! Then we had an email from Tushar, Head of Sales apologising for the lack of communication but explaining that they We are hugely inundated with enquiries since lockdown opened and have been trying to get through to as many enquiries as possible. Well they hadn't got to my property! Even yesterday as our contract was coming to an end I get a final email from Tushar stating I have been out of office hence my reply coming to you today. this is a week after the last communication!! Avoid avoid avoid!. All of this has been very carefully documented by myself and I can prove everything I have stated is 100% truthful.

I asked them to value my property, at the point I told them I had contacted a high street agent, the chap I spoke to proudly went on to tell me how his “bullish” (his own words) tactics lock buyers in by scaremongering them into leaving a none-refundable £1000 deposit with his company prior to even letting them view a property. Not only is this immoral but it would also scare away any buyer who happened to be asset-rich and relying on the sale of their own property to complete a transaction.
His valuation came in at £25k lower than another agent, and he made it clear that they do this so that he can pocket anything over asking price.
Impressive stats, but these rely heavily on the post-covid housing market boom which I’m sure every other estate agent has also benefited from.
I recorded my call (only because I needed to refer back to the valuation with my partner as he was unable to make the appointment with me) and will be forwarding the contents over to the FCA.
Truly dreadful!

I found Sold.co.uk on Google and thought I would give them a try as I as soo dissatisfied with high st Estate Agents.
Sold we're confident that they could sell my property in a month and true to their word they did. Communication was constant and up to date. They also helped throughout the sales process and I used their legal services too.
I was so impressed I recommend them to my sister. They sold her property on the first day and above asking price.
I would highly recommend them.

I’d give SOLD 3 stars as we haven’t sold our property with them yet. We put our flat on the market with them in mid-December, although the price was slightly less than other agents provided we thought we’d try them as they said 4/5 of their properties sold within 30 days.
Unfortunately, that was not the case for our flat as it’s been over 40 days now. Ellie and Charles have been great at communicating with us at all times and have assured us that due to Covid we have had zero viewings.
From a sellers point of the view, the agents seem good at marketing and communicating with customers but please don’t presume they will sell your property within 30 days as I know from experience now that it depends on many other factors which are out of the agent's control.
