I don't know where to start really! I thought moving in with your partner was supposed to be exciting, it was nothing but stressful for us! Firstly, we paid an estate agent fee of about £237 pp, I dont know what this was for as we had to do everything ourselves, it was up to us to travel 70 miles for refernces, the staff at frank innes did next to nothing to get us moved in to our new home! Also as one of us failed our referrencing we had to pay 6 months rent up front, this was not a problem for us until it came to moving out! When we arrived in the house it had not been cleaned it was a mess, however, we were so relieved to finally be in we didnt bother complaining. Due to financial difficulties we had to move out of the property early, we made the staff at chesterfield and derby well aware that we needed the money back for the two months we had prepaid and were told that was fine and we would recieve the rent back. 8 weeks on, we have still recieved no money from them, everytime we ring we are fobbed off by the staff who say 'we will find out whats going on and call you back', as you have probably guessed we dont get a call back! We were also told when moving out by Charlie from the chesterfield branch we could leave some belongings such as a sofa and a bed at the property and she would ask the next tennant if she wanted them. My partner and I then got a phonecall on Monday from the Derby branchtelling us we would have to remove the items we left in the property by 5 o'clock the same day or we would be charged for the removal! As we were both at work this would be impossible so we had no choice but to be charged £180 to remove these items. As you can imagine we were not very happy about this as we had been told by Charlie we could leave them, throughout the whole process we got mixed messages from the Chesterfield and Derby branch's. The staff are incapable of doing their job and when my partner and I come to buy a house we would NEVER use this company again, even if our dream house was up for sale with frank innes there is NO WAY we would put ourselves through the stress of dealing with this shambles of a company again!
What agent could do to change your mind?
The Agent could employ people who are capable of doing the job because it seems everyone we have dealt with are a joke, to say the least! Its not a hard job so we find it quite shocking how so many staff are incapable! The best thing for these agents would be to shut it down! It is absolutely unacceptable that we have not recieved money we are owed after 8 weeks, should the boot be on the other foot I am sure you would also find it unacceptable if we owed a substantial amount of money to the company and still had not paid it 8 weeks later! Im sure your staff would be constantly ringing us! It is an absolute shambles!

Avoid! I am not one to ever write reviews but for the sake of future customers- This agency neglects all duty of care for tenants and represents illegal landlords. Even in the light of blatant law breaking from a 'self managing' landlord they represent, (including ...

What agent could do to change your mind?
The agent could have stood by their word, that they agreed to verbally before we signed the contract, as if they could not meet our request, we would have not signed the contract.
