I feel completed to write this review. This guys are complete scam artist, I would advice both tenant as landlords to stay away from them.
I had some friends coming over from Spain, they have just finish their Uni degrees and are looking to work here for a while to improve their English. They found a property with this agency, they were in contact for over two weeks, I was a POC and they could phone me if there was any issues.
The last they heard from this cowboys was on Friday night when they received a message telling them to meet at the property for the keys.
Fast forward to Monday when they arrives to Glasgow they had a message saying that there was stuff missing, the guys had paid the required advanced deposit and would pay the rest once here (as o per the confirmation email sent from the agency "2. Pay your share of the property deposit online at PayIt (MUST BE PAID WITHIN 7 DAYS OF TAKING THE PROPERTY" ) and they had filled an online form.
This scammers knew that this couple had just finished uni and had no references, they were very well aware of their situation.
Back to Monday night, I gave them a phone to understand, the woman that answered the phone….well, she gets the award for most rude person ever, she kept insisting on "they haven't paid anything and they haven't given us references) They were also asking them for 2 references for EACH tenant…. Never in my life I have been asked for that many references for renting a house, SPECIALLY when they asked for 4 months' rent in advance, witch my friends agreed to and were willing to pay…
I ended up telling Mrs Rude that I would pop over the office and before I could ask till what time they are open she hung up the phone (10/10 for customer service - landlords be warned this is how your tenants are being treated)
When I arrived, they stated that there was issues with the references, or lack of them and the money not being paid.
I spoke to them on Friday morning and none of this was highlighted, they could have also contacted me on Monday morning and let me know that there was potential issues, none of this was done.
Keep in mind that the expectation that they set on their email is NOT the reality of what was expected of my friends.
We obviously asked for our money back and we already have a couple of viewing with other agencies (that were very keen to help when I messaged them this morning explaining the situation)
I can't express enough how disgusted I am with this agency and their behaviour during this.
