I've been in an intenable flat for some 6 months now. I live below anti-social tenants who stamp about on hardwood floors all hours, let their kids run back and forth, jump off things and have domestics every week. They've even tried to kick down their own door twice before now. My flat below is insanely noisy. Both the council and Grainger have been kept informed of this. To this date they haven't been evicted and Grainger's complaints saw no scope for compensation.rnrnI've attempted talking to the neighbours and been told to "f off".rnrnThe rep at Grainger has been extremely pleasant to deal with - but in hindsight the whole situation has been poorly handled.

What agent could do to change your mind?
No steal my money, give me compensation for bank charges and time sorting it out. They could just be nice instead of constantly quoting from the tenancy agreement. This is from a tenant who carried out their own maintenance, painting & put up with rather substandard equipment but continued to pay 'market rate' for the property - I think it's really bad to treat people who could have been there for years the same as new tenants.
