Stunning job done by the team at GP Basingstoke. I needed a quick sale and they worked hard to achieve this. Offer accepted from a motivated first time buyer (with mortgage AIP) on New Year's Eve... completed on Feb 15th! This is included the buyer's mortgage & Help to Buy ISA formalities... all in just six and a half weeks!
Three members of GP staff were instrumental in this: James Cattrall, Andrew Blake and Ged Egan. Great job guys!
Biggest shout out goes to sales progressor Andrew Blake for going above & beyond the call of duty to support my first time buyer and liaising with the solicitors.
My top tips to push things along: give your agent a printed list with full details about the house, utilities, neighbours, services in local area, etc etc - saves a lot of time wasting questions going to & fro as all the answers are on the sheet, and the agent can give a copy to prospective buyers. Get quotes for any work you know is needed in advance & include them (avoiding survey surprises). Plus get a really efficient high street solicitor and mortgage advisor! Happy house hunting!
