There is no adequate way to express the utterly appalling, unprofessional and totally disrespectful service from Marques. The compulsory 'one star' is a total outrage when I consider the continued abuse suffered from Marques. I honestly don't even know where to begin... there is so much that reflects their total inability, inefficiencies, utter indifference, ineptitude and incompetence.
From accounting and management through to staff who either don't exist and are figments or everyone else's imagination, or work only one day a week. Be warned, if you are a landlord, you will battle a never-ending hugely stressful and painful monthly routine of trying to gain someone's attention long enough to elicit your rightful payments. And despite all the promises, all the reassurances, NOTHING EVER CHANGES... all the placations are a complete and total farce.
The biggest fool in my saga was myself, I tried time and again to establish some form of professional working relationship with Marques. It turns out they simply didn't care. I got the idea that the entire operation was a con, a way to shuffle funds around a game board. You'll get paid one month and then not again... in my case the worse being a wait for over a year and a half to be paid. Every month was the same, no payment unless you protested, called or emailed mostly in vain or visited their offices.
When I finally got around to the accounts, nothing bore any resemblance to anything else. I never had any records of what the tenants were actually paying, rental increases showed several months after effective dates... it's complete guesswork, a nightmare, a complete and utter shambles. And as much as I tried to ask for clarification, they themselves could not provide any. Businesses like this should not be allowed to exist, it's just abusive and outright disrespectful.
Estate agents are meant to be trustworthy and reliable, yet Marques broke my contracts time and time again... and despite me contacting professional bodies, the indifference was startling. Do yourself a favour... go somewhere else, anywhere... just don't go here if you value your sanity. There is no strong enough way to describe the repugnance I hold for Marques.

It is impossible to describe their appalling service. Never have I ever encounter such spectacular customer abuse as I have with this bunch. Had to move in late as they had an ‘overlap' in tennancy dates. No hot water for 2 weeks despite reporting it to them several times. Make sure every mark/stain is noted on your original inventory as they will find it on the moving out inventory and charge you a compensation fee.
