“Worst Rental Experience Ever...”

I have never dealt with such an awful company in my life before, how they won a customer service award I will never know, just like I will never know why I was evicted from 94 Appleton Drive. My advice is to NEVER use this company for long term rentals, they do NOT care at all about their tenants and here is why: I rented the property for a 12 month contract and was asked to renew and pay their fees, as this was supposed to be a long term rental it makes no sense to pay fees every year to rent the property so I requested a periodic tenancy and then they sent me an eviction notice which they told me they didn't need to give me a reason for, they refused to let me speak to the landlord to find out the reason stating a landlord doesn't need to give a reason but come on clearly there is a reason, there is always a reason! They treated me with such lack of care or regard and didn't offer me any help whatsoever that I had to escalate my complaint to the ombudsman! They even "reluctantly" gave me a month extension! Between then and now they cancelled all my energy supplier accounts leaving me with massive bills to pay. Even though I am having the property professionally cleaned and will leave it in the condition as stated on the inventory list, I expect they will try to take at least some of my deposit and I will have to fight that too. Gascoigne-Pees have made the last 3 months of my life absolute hell, put me into debt and offered nothing to compensate me, they're more interested in saying they've done nothing wrong and that this is just a risk a tenant takes in renting a property, well as a managing agent they should be minimizing the risk by not having rouge landlords on their books.
