I called this morning to organise a viewing for a rental property. I was asked when i could do the viewing so i stating a day as i work every other day. I was given them 2 days notice and they still couldnt do the time i needed even though i give them a 5 hour time to choose. I was shocked when they told me they couldnt do it because they were already there that day in the morning and they only when once a day, Therefore they can only do the viewing the next week so 9 days after i called. If i was this landlord i would be going mad if i new they were turning down viewings. There office is 5 mins away from the property they should be able to book a viewing in closer than 9 days time. Do they want to rent the property or not. They have really annoyed me now and for this reason i will not be viewing that property or any others in the future.
What agent could do to change your mind?
I believe the way the market is at the moment (i know this as i do this for a living) they should be bending backwards to help customers and booking there diarys as full as they should when they can not wynding customers up by saying they cant do the viewing. They clearly are too busy ( which i dont believe) to need me as a customer.
